Listening three stories in one - amazing!!!
Revisado: 04-02-25
Thank you for sharing and a wonderful reminder that all we need is in God. The multi breasted one is concerned about our struggles - we often go thru life carry unnecessary burdens when all He wants to do is take them and lift us. I loved the weaving of the characters past life with the current situations and how God’s hand could be seen throughout

I wish there was a family tree or that I was making notes to keep up with the characters! But ahhh it all made sense in the end. Thank you Ms Lynn - for always bringing us back to what really matters - even with all that life throws at us - Christ is really what matters and doing His will.

What an amazing but hard ride through this book - my God how people suffered during that time and unfortunately some still don’t love - “We’re all brothers and sisters in Christ in this place and there isn’t any hatred or discrimination when He is our Lord and Master. In His Kingdom we all have the same colour skin.”

In the city of Chicago in 1892, the rules for Victorian women are strict, their roles limited. But sisters Rebecca and Flora Hawes are not typical Victorian ladies. Their love of adventure and their desire to use their God-given talents has brought them to the Sinai Desert - and into a sandstorm. Accompanied by Soren Petersen, their somber young butler, and Kate Rafferty, a street urchin who is learning to be their ladies' maid, the two women are on a quest to find an important biblical manuscript.
