Historia
The City of Inventions, Pallass, is a fascinating place. Filled with all kinds of oddballs from the named-rank [Alchemist], Saliss of Lights, to Grimalkin the [Sinew Magus], a drunken Dwarven master [Blacksmith], to Chaldion, to... Wyverns? Erin Solstice is on a break from her inn. Not for long; she's returning with more Skills, but she has changed. She will return with her usual chaos and wonder, but always differently. Now, there are flames and... a garden?

Yet another great one
Revisado: 04-26-25
I love this book. It was fantastic. Character depth is amazing. I’m sad to hear Andrea will not be narrating the books going forward. That is a huge loss in my opinion. She did a fantastic job mastering all the many many voices.

Historia
A [Mage] team from Wistram Academy is dogging Pisces, Ceria, Ksmvr, and Yvlon's steps, with revenge in mind. However, adventurers must work, and the Horns have been called on as security for an ambitious project: building a road past the Bloodfields towards the rest of southern Izril. There is more to the world than just Liscor, however. Players of Celum are coming to Invrisil with a splash. There are [Knights] from Terandria roaming around Izril after their battle with the Witch of Webs, and they have heard tell of a mysterious slayer of Goblins.

Historia
Wildlife and monsters have been stirred from their homes by intruders, both in the continent of Chandrar and the Empire of Tiqr, led by Nsiia, the Empress of Beasts, and in Liscor's dungeon, where a certain skeleton continues to help both friend and foes in the only way he knows how. In Liscor, the election will result in a new group of leaders for the city. But is that for the better or worse?

First one of the series I didn’t much care for
Revisado: 03-30-25
To start, I’ve loved this series. It’s a bit different with the large cast of characters, but over time I’ve found myself invested in nearly every character. This is the first book I didn’t much care for. It’s not the writing or anything other than my own quirk. I just found this book depressing. Very few positive things in this. It was like one slap in the face after another lol

Historia
Classes evolve, roles shift, and in the city of Liscor, change is happening. The Horns of Hammerad are growing as adventurers, rising in the eyes of the city and the surrounding lands. They've survived, and they've leveled, but new levels also bring new problems. Izril is still facing turmoil as nobles fight and squabble while Liscor breathes again and heals, trying to find a new way forward. The best cure for dark days? Games! And none know it better than the oldest adventurers, who've lived through countless struggles.

I loved this book. Just solid story line. Each character has such depth that at first I didn’t like due to it being so scattered, now I’m used to it and find myself loving it.

The rains have halted, and all that’s left is mud. Mud...and the tracks of the Goblin Lord’s army. They have finally come to Liscor, pursued by Tyrion Veltras and his forces. In their path lies The Wandering Inn. Erin Solstice will have to find a way to survive the coming conflict, and save her friends. The question is: at what cost?

This writer gets better with each book. The character depth is epic. I do hate the deaths of characters I really liked, but that’s all part of it I guess.

Historia
Of course, if there were only one thing under Liscor, there would be far less to fear. However, the dungeon continues to be a threat. At the same time, Goblins continue to roam northern Izril, but not all of them are as hostile to people as Tremborag or the Goblin Lord. Will the Unseen Emperor of Riverfarm make that distinction, however? A reckoning is coming as old faces and new reemerge. And all the while, The Wandering Inn is still serving food and respite and even plays to adventurers and Antinium alike. But something is coming from the dungeons. And it—they—are hungry.

This book was the best of the series for me. They really brought in the dungeon dive experience of a game into this book. Tied together a lot of characters. Just a great story here. I’m such a red fang fan now. They could have a spin off of their own lol

Historia
Fischer has everything he needs in life: blossoming friendships, a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property with easy access to fishing, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant or a really big dog. Unfortunately, Fischer can’t catch a break. Cosmic forces? Still throwing curveballs. The bigwigs in the capital? Starting to sniff around his business. Cults? Still culting. Plus, awakened beings are washing up on his shores like flotsam after a storm. And worst of all? His coffee guy ghosted him!

Interesting series
Revisado: 08-27-24
I love this series. It’s not flashy. It’s not loaded with any real action. But it’s full of wonder and positivity. It’s literally like the author took a page from he who fights with monsters and went a slightly different route. It’s a solid series. 10/10 all around

Historia
The Aftermath of a stunning victory—especially an unexpected, complete, and final victory—should be high-fives all around, listening to politicians give boring congratulatory speeches, and a well-deserved rest for the Merry Band of Pirates. Yes, the galaxy is still a freakin' mess, but that is nothing new, and for a change, that can be someone else's problem. Until, you know, something really bad happens, and only the Pirates can deal with the problem... Or not.

I will say these books seem to go on forever. I actually thought they had come to a nice close, but I guess not lol. It was still a good book. But I think it should have ended. The merry band isn’t really the same. And Joe is getting old. That being said, I’ll still keep listening because this was a great series.

This is a pretty solid series
Revisado: 10-18-23
I’m really digging this series. The hapless soldier and the quick witted AI combo sells the story as a decent laugh. Add to the action and general good vibes of the story, this book can get ya on the edge of the seat after a good laugh. The reader does a slam dunk job. “Ba-nanas” HA!
