Overhyped, too simple, disappointed.

I was really hoping for more substance. I feel Tara is still the 16 year old who wrote this book. I'm happy she was able to leave the mountain and hope she can stay away. Truthfully I wont reccomend this book, I kept searching for more each chapter until it was finally over . I had to finish this because I dont quit however I did not want to. Nowhere in this does tara "argue that education is not just about job training, but a powerful tool of self-invention." I was very disappointed she may be a singer, survivor, educated and even a historian , but not a writer.
