Absolute garbage
Revisado: 07-07-22
This book was terrible and so predictable. It ended abruptly with real no resolution of the plot.
Trigger warning: there a descriptions of very disturbing abuse that might hit a little too close to home for some people.

Historia
Posey Osterhagen can't complain. She owns a successful architectural salvaging company, she's surrounded by her lovable, if off-center, family, and she has a boyfriend-sort of. Still, something's missing. Something tall, brooding and criminally good-looking - something like Liam Murphy. When Posey was 16, the bad boy of Bellsford, New Hampshire, broke her heart. But now he's back, sending Posey's traitorous schoolgirl heart into overdrive once again.

It started out so good and had me hooked but about 10 hours it went completely downhill. I hated the racially stereotyped characters, they made me believe that this author isn’t friends with many Mexican Americans. Also the narrator was atrocious and made the racist representation of the Mexican American detective even worse. Simply don’t waste your time.

Refugee is an urgent call to action. It is a book to help Christian's untangle themselves from arguments on topics, such as politics and immigration, and truly release the Kingdom of God which is within every believer. Born out of a personal frustration of apathetic Christianity, the book will help guide people into a better understanding of their refugee assignment from heaven for immediate impact.

The guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. A friend suggested this book and it was a complete waste of time. A guy with know pastoral experience thinks he has the authority to tell them what they’re doing wrong when he’s never had to take on that responsibility. Don’t waste your time.

The lead character did it.
Revisado: 12-10-18
This book sucked hard. The timeline was stupid and frustrating. The main character and her brother killed the girls and got away with it. The narrator was horrible and is incapable of doing male voices. This book blows.

This book was outstanding! Michael McDowell is a master at creating characters and an environment that completely emerges you into the story. He does an excellent job of slowly building a plot that hungers you for more. The narrator did a phenomenal job I couldn’t recommend this book enough!

Historia
On paper, Chris Brennan looks perfect. He's applying for a job as a high school government teacher, he's ready to step in as an assistant baseball coach, and his references are impeccable. But everything about Chris Brennan is a lie. Susan Sematov is proud of her son Raz, a high school pitcher so athletically talented that he's being recruited for a full-ride scholarship to a Division I college, with a future in major-league baseball. But Raz’s father died only a few months ago, leaving her son in a vulnerable place where any new father figure might influence him for good, or evil.

Revisado: 10-20-18
This book was absolutely terrible! The dialogue was terrible and Lisa scottiline doesn’t have a clue about how teenage boys talk. The storyline wasn’t believable and full unlike able characters. The narrator was the final nail in the coffin. I wanted to stab my self in the ear drum. This book was so bad that I didn’t finish it.

The only reason I gave it three stars was because the narrator did an outstanding job. I thought the ending was underwhelming and the story in whole felt incomplete.

Crashing the chatterbox = Overpowering lies of insecurity, fear, condemnation, and discouragement with the promises of God. “I used to think that someone who struggled with the kinds of weaknesses I deal with daily was useless to God. I felt so often like I was drowning in internal dialogue I couldn’t control. It had been the soundtrack of my life for as long as I could remember.
