Good story, necessary read if you like Rogue One.

Solid StoryAnd if you enjoy the rogue one is a must read due to all of the details given to Jyns backstory. Narrator leaves a lot to be desired, specially when compared to other Star Wars audible narrators.

This was a fantastic book. Performance was decent

The book is fantastic. Golden seems to excel at humanizing and making you sympathize for "evil" characters. This book really delves into the Empire and how there are just as many idealists in the Empire as there is in the rebellion. She also makes some very memorable characters
The only problem is the book does drag in some spots in the middle. it's necessary for the plot but don't expect this to have the same pace as Twilight Company
The performance was pretty good it was a little off putting that some of the men that were older sounded like Teenage boys in my opinion, the admiral and Gideon Hask are good examples of this. However The narrator was definitely thrilled to be reading for a Star Wars book and you can really tell with her inflection.
Overall Very good book and a solid voice performance.

Nice To Have Thrawn Back, But...

Zhan has a field day with HIS character

This was a fascinating book and a must read for Canon junkies. This humanizes portions of the empire extremely well and makes Thrawn one of the most layered and complex characters.
Marc Thompson as usual does a fantastic job. Some of his voices are re-used but the ones for Thrawn and Vanto are simply superb

Solid Book. Really expands on the lore well

Zahn does a great job here of expanding the lore. If you were at all curious about what happens after Legacy of the Void here it is. Zahn also gives a lot of depth to characters that you usually just control and put to there deaths in the game.
Only part I didn't like is that Artanis felt a little out of character then he was in Legacy of the Void. All in all of you like StarCraft read this.
