Historia
To Robbie Feaver the law is all about making a play - to a client, a jury, or a judge. But when the flashy, womanizing, multimillion-dollar personal injury lawyer is caught offering bribes, he's forced to wear a wire. Even as the besieged attorney looks after his ailing wife, Feaver must also make tapes that will hurl his friends, his enemies, his city, and a particular FBI undercover agent into a crisis of conscience and law.

Tediously slow with too long sentences and metaphors
Revisado: 02-23-24
I’m only in Chapter 4 and find myself backing up too many times because i can’t seem to concentrate on all the characters. Have enjoyed Turrow in the past but not this book.

Tedious pace
Revisado: 11-09-23
Listening in my car nearly drove me to distraction. The narrator seemed to be trying so hard to create the southern accent. I often had to yell “move on with it”!

Historia
An anonymous tip puts Bosch on a case that has remained unsolved for decades, the vicious stabbing of a teenage boy whose body was found in an abandoned Old Hollywood restaurant. Cold cases are often the toughest: With no body, no murder scene, and no fingerprints, Bosch nevertheless gets lucky when DNA evidence from the murder weapon points to a known killer. But the DA insists that science alone is not enough - he needs the case to be bulletproof before he'll take it to court.

Waste of a credit… shame on Audible
Revisado: 08-08-22
Disjointed and poor excuse for a short story. I want my credit back. I couldn’t believe it when credits started rolling!

Extremely boring
Revisado: 05-12-21
The story is tedious and tangent stories are just fill. McLain really missed her high bar of a page turner.

Tedious. Repetitive. Too many chapters. Interesting subject but felt I was being hit over the head time and time again with atrocities.

Historia
Young Spenser is tough. No doubt about it. After all, he's being raised by his father and uncles - three of the toughest men in town. He knows how to fight, and he's had to prove it. But his father taught him something far more valuable: Sometimes the toughest thing a guy can do is walk away from a fight. So when Spenser sees his friend Jeannie being taken in a boat downriver by her abusive father, he knows he has a hard decision to make. Should he trust his gut and risk his own life to save Jeannie's? And if so, how can he overcome such a bear of a man?

Boring.
Revisado: 06-18-16
Written with way too many "he said" "she said" and so so slow. I just wanted to fast forward through the immature dialogue.
