So many authors have other people do the work of reading to their audience. It was good to hear it being told in his own voice.

I found the book extremely thought provoking and inspiring. It brought attention to the fact that we DON'T know what the person standing right next to us could be going through. Steve's commitment to pulling himself out of the depths of hell (on earth) and reaching for the glory of God is truly inspiring. There are plenty of fine details of his faith that inspired myself to reach even deeper and try some of the things that I've always heard will bring me closer to Christ, but never tried. Thank you Steve for sharing your trials and tribulations with the world. I know it's been a hard road to get here.
