Story was great, several story lines progressed and I really liked her and Michael reuniting, plus the introduction of Terry Henry Walton. Highly recommend the entire series

I thought the story was great but do not like the change of voices for Tabitha and the Tontos from the Kurtherian Gambit stories. The accent on her and the lack of accent on them. It was a distraction. Otherwise I like the start of this series

Love how it is broken down into different stories and you get to see more details on certain story lines. If you are reading or listening the the Kurtherian Universe, you need to read this one. Hope they do more like this. Well done

Loved Valerie and thoroughly enjoyed this set

I travel a lot and listen to box sets or longer books. This one did not disappoint. I have listened to it a couple of times. The introduction to the main character Valerie was well done, with a good amount of back story. I also liked how characters crossed over from other story lines. Well worth the listen.

Excellent introduction to the series.

I was introduced to the series from The Bad Company boxed sets. Loved those and they had me going straight to the beginning. First of all Bethany Ann rocks, total badass. I really enjoyed the introduction to the main characters. Well done Michael. I have already completed the first 21 books and loved them all. Highly recommend the series to those who like to escape for while and follow characters for an entire series.

Good spin-off series

Thoroughly enjoyed this set. Boris is a great character, with a sense of honor and loyalty. Loved the story and the characters were developed well. I have listened to it twice and I am sure I will again once I finish more of the Bethany Ann books. It is nice when you can escape in a books for a while, we all need a break from real life, even if for a short time.

Great origin story for TH, Char and their team.

Very much enjoyed learning how TH and Char got together and the backstory on so many characters that are part of the ongoing Kurtherian Universe. Anything I was not able to listen to in this series I make sure to read it on my kindle. Have been hooked since the first listen to Bad Company boxed set. Enjoy

This is the set that introduced me to the Kurtherian Universe. I travel a lot and look for boxed sets. This one did not disappoint. I loved the characters and immediately began listening to all of the other boxed sets. TH and Char are a great pair. Love the action and humor in the stories. I recommend all the Terry Henry Walton books. Now on to my next way overdue review.

Hoping it gets better

Halfway through book 2 and it is very difficult to get past Sidney with her constant whining, treatment of Smoke and bring them in alive mentality after witnessing murders by non-humans. I am going to keep listening and hope it gets better. Some reviews say it does in the next couple of books. Also, the sound affects are silly.
