Historia
To eight-year-old Bela, her family is her world. There’s Mommy, Daddo, and Grandma Ruth. But there is also Other Mommy, a malevolent entity who asks her every day: “Can I go inside your heart?” When horrifying incidents around the house signal that Other Mommy is growing tired of asking Bela the question over and over, Bela understands that unless she says yes, her family will soon pay. Other Mommy is getting restless, stronger, bolder. Only the bonds of family can keep Bela safe, but other incidents show cracks in her parents’ marriage. The safety Bela relies on is about to unravel.

Excellent story, must read for spooky season.
Revisado: 09-26-24
Very well done, both written and performed. Makes an old trope feel fresh. Characters are well developed to the point you actually care, be it hate or love them. Paced well enough, decent amount of scary tension. But what makes this book go from good to great is this performance! Children and children"s voices can really be tricky, this lady is fantastic, you never get annoyed with it. Great range too. Definitely onevof my new favorites.

Unless you're a collector and avid reader of this type of book, you'll not see it coming. Very well written, the pace is great and the narration is wonderfully dark and panicky, holds you. A trip into madness.

Historia
The grandfather of the NDE (near death experience) movement, Raymond Moody has, in the words of Dr. Larry Dossey, author of The Power of Premonitions, "radically changed the way modern humans think about the afterlife." Paranormal, essential listening for fans of Dannion Brinkley and Jeffrey Long, is "a thrilling and inspiring literary experience. Anyone who is not grateful for Moody's immense contribution to human welfare ought to check his pulse."

Historia
In 1978, Ivan Tuttle was living a carefree life, going from one party to the next, from one high to another — when his fun, free life was interrupted by a pain in his leg. Doctors told him he had a dangerous blood clot in his leg — but Ivan didn’t pay much attention to that. He was 26 and felt fine; blood clots were a problem for his grandfather, not him. Until the clock ran out.

If a true story, this is one special man. A profit to end all profits, which is a big contradiction to the message of the book. i grew up in a southern church, this book is one long alter call. Propaganda at nest.
