You bet have already listened to it 3 times. Will do it again. Will listen to the 1st book again also.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nicola Tesla. He just seems right.

Which scene was your favorite?

Shelling the tripod with train wrecked field gun.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The second destruction of the defence forces.

Well read, great story

What made the experience of listening to The Great Martian War: Invasion the most enjoyable?

Well written, well read. Good and well developed characters. The story follows HG Wells concepts closely. In that context it is a logical and well thought out sequel.

What other book might you compare The Great Martian War: Invasion to and why?

It is difficult not to compare this with the original, I think it holds up pretty well.

Have you listened to any of Ray Greenley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all of Ray's books, this may well be the best.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Got a real kick out the the conversation with Nicola Tesla. Looking forward the use of his static machine against the Martians.

The overall situation intrigued me. Post apocalyptic but no zombies!

What about Ray Greenley’s performance did you like?

His characters have consistent unique voices, no doubt as to who is talking. Good reading in general

Where does Insidious rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

2, really insufficient data for a meaningful ranking.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Jets escape from his bonds on the table. I find wishing your way out of tough situations to be a bit of a cheat. But then it looks as if this story is relying heavily on some form of spiritualism. Personally my interests lie in the physical world and I like my solutions to be there as well.`

Jet.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Would have been nice but I had to break it up, managed to get it listened to in a single day.

Great set of well read stories

What did you love best about The Unreconstructed M and Other Stories?

These are old SiFi stories that do not get the attention they deserve, It is surprising that stories written in the '50s can sill be relevant. Mars colonization, discrimination, and endless war all issues we continue to deal with in the 21st century. Great stories.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Unreconstructed M and Other Stories?

Each story has it's moment. So far "Beyond Lies the Wup" is my favorite story. great ending.

What does Ray Greenley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Ray has a great voice and is easy to listen to. He manages to add life to every thing he reads.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The totality of it. Again great stories that simply do not get the visibility they deserve.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, Just the narration is sufficient reason, but the story is worth the listen as well.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

Mr.Conner has created an interesting world. In someways I am seeing it as a steampunk world, with a mix of archaic technology and modern. The colorful characters would also do well as Steampunks. I remain a bit puzzled by the history of this world, with 3 moons it is clearly not earth, but the characters seem to be unaware of alien lifeforms, Even though their gods are alien.

Have you listened to any of Ray Greenley’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I enjoy listening to Ray read, may be a bit prejudiced though, he is my son afterall! I have listened to all of his audio books... several times.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was a bit shocked by Avery's diet in this book.
