Always wonderful- short sweet and full of NYC charm. I only wish the story, like the band could play on and on. ❤️❤️❤️🪲🐞🪳🪳🪳🪲🐭😻

It sounds like he’s reading an electronic assembly guide. The robotic voice, forced enunciation is grating. It is difficult to listen to.

Heavenly
Revisado: 05-27-23
Magnificent sound that allows me to detach from myself, relax and fall asleep. The constant drone of the instrument provides the radiant vibration for me to concentrate more on my breathing than on the overwhelming chatter of negativity that pervades my thoughts. Following the experience through Sarah’s voice leads me to focus on the area of my physical body that I need to concentrate on. Eventually, I drifted into a deep sleep and my body felt well rested and cleared of the vibrations that kept me focused on the lower, negative, critical self. Staying open to new techniques and exercises keeps me in wonder and awe of life. I appreciate a chance to participate in something offered by such a wonderful practitioner and artist like Sarah Auster. Sending love and radiant light to all.

Star sounds to sleep under
Revisado: 04-07-23
Often, I listen to this ‘included with membership audible selection’ when I want to tune out, settle in and go to sleep. Without fail it is successful- every single time. I fall asleep so quickly and soundly, I don’t think I have ever stayed awake all the way through. It’s an amazing experience. I’m grateful to have this available. It’s a soundscape of wonder and depth taking you far within yourself to reveal your core being, your own natures’ essence. It’s beautiful and grounding- it’s as if a meteor shower had sound fading into the dark recesses of night.

Inaudible
Revisado: 02-17-22
I could not get past the poor audio quality or even a few sentences from the reader. I tried to give it a chance but it was difficult to listen to and did not give an enjoyable experience for something to relax, unwind and take in. Unfortunate because I am usually drawn to these types of topics but given the production quality being so poor it did not merit a listen. Hope it is redone with a professional crew and narrated by someone with some voice training.

Boring person relying on worn out tropes instead of trying to create content.
Sloppy and tired work- a nothing of a podcast. Waste of time.
Really not funny or clever but instead shouts as an alternative to comedy.

Historia
In this dazzling debut, Carla Shalaby, a former elementary school teacher, explores the everyday lives of four young "troublemakers", challenging the ways we identify and understand so-called problem children. Time and again, we make seemingly endless efforts to moderate, punish, and even medicate our children, when we should instead be concerned with transforming the very nature of our institutions, systems, and structures, large and small.

Insightfully brilliant
Revisado: 07-28-17
In Troublemaker you are given an insight into what is possible if you believe in the power of ideas and would like to know what it would be like if we put trust in the notion that children can learn in a variety of different ways. It reveals the struggle in education being a one size fits all solution for the education crisis. The real crisis is not advocating for love and thinking that there is only one strict, authoritarian style of education. It is the children that are labeled troublemakers, those that dare think outside of the box or who do not fit into current societal ideal norms that deserve to be given the freedom to learn in a way that best suits them. This is for teachers that want to find a better way to deal with those students that challenge you. I highly recommend this book for all teachers, parents, administrators and policy makers. This is a glimpse of hope towards fixing our overburdened, high pressured, high expectation education system. I eagerly await the author's follow up book. Thank you for writing this timely book.
