The Truman Show
Revisado: 11-29-24
The President's Weren't Ranked...it felt like the Truman Show, it started out decent and then O'Reilly started with his collection of memos and citing his own books such as the killing series, The end gave very poor judgments on Trump. Such as, Dugard stated that 6 JAN was fueled by Trump to stop the electoral vote in 2020. A true historian doesn't listen to fake news such as 6A January. Wake up Bill abs Martin if the vote wasn't stolen where did the 15 million extra votes that Biden receive go?

Historia
In Killing the Legends, Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard explore the lives, legacies, and tragic deaths of three of the most famous people of the 20th century. Each experienced immense success, then failures that forced them to change; each faced the challenge of growing old in fields that privilege youth; and finally, each became isolated, cocooned by wealth but vulnerable to the demands of those in their innermost circles.

Greed and Jealousy
Revisado: 12-13-22
Sometimes the people that are closet to you are in it are in it for their own good. The people that managed Elvis, Lennon, and Ali saw these legends as a golden egg. It's a sad world and how evil people can be.

Historia
The Shinkolobwe Mine in the Belgian Congo was described by a 1943 Manhattan Project intelligence report as the "most important deposit of uranium yet discovered in the world". So long as the United States remained in control of this mine and its supply, it had a world monopoly on the primary material needed to build an atomic bomb. The uranium from this mine was used to build the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

Extremely Interesting

Great story overall, I am glad that some of the Everett event is now finally coming to light. The only downside of the book was the narrator sounded like a robot.

One of the best accounts of Midway
Revisado: 01-04-20
This book is a great insight and a tell all of the true heroes of Midway but there's more than that. Thank you Dusty for sharing your story and your accuracy is incredible! Never Call Me A Hero is a must-read for any leadership development.

Historia
Before the ink was dry on the U.S. Constitution, the establishment of a permanent military had become the most divisive issue facing the new government. Would a standing army be the thin end of dictatorship? Would a navy protect American commerce against the Mediterranean pirates, or drain the treasury and provoke hostilities with the great powers? The founders, particularly Jefferson, Madison, and Adams, debated these questions fiercely and switched sides more than once.
