Getting REacquainted with an old friend
Revisado: 12-03-24
I started the Scarpetta series in High School. I literally bought book 1 brand new (from the book of the month club 😉😉). I read so many, up and past Lucy being a big shot investigator or fed (for real, I forget) with the very expensive toys her brains made her. Then mom life crashed that party lol. Now a Gramma of 7 and cat mom of a lot, colony keeper, part time vet tech student, all around cat life saver, wife, mom etc.....I have zero time to read, one of my lost passions, so when I discovered Podcasts and Audiobooks I was/am through the roof giddy!
Getting to rediscover one of my favorite writers, favorite series, favorite characters ..... PRICELESS

Patricia Cornells "Postmortem"
Revisado: 11-29-24
I have read this entire series. I love Kay. Lucy is a character and I have a love / hate relationship with her ~ lol ~ she grows up to be something else, that's fo sho (lol)
At times I feel Dr Kay is a little too "hoity toity" and it is irritating. Other than that, eh ......I love it!
I love how the characters evolve over time.
Patricia Cornell is one of my favorite writers!
