Great first book to introduce people to Warhammer 40k.

Storm of Iron is a great introductory story to the Imperium of Man, Space Marines, and Chaos/Traitor Marines. The story has a lot of good Imperial Guard characters that serve as Point of View for the reader. The Siege defense story is a good setting to explain the world of 40k without being to overwhelming. I highly recommend this book as a starting point for new readers.

Hope they adapt the rest of the Astonishing X-men

This adaptation of Astonishing X-Men adds a lot of scenes that take place between the panels of the comics. Highly recommend if you were a fan of the X-Men.

It's a 30 hour audio blockbuster!

I love how so many plot threads setup across the previous books get paid off in this one. Closest thing I could compare it to is Avengers Infiniti War and Endgame after following the MCU since the first Ironman movie. My only complaint is that I have to wait for the next book to be written before I listen to more.

Good, but should have been read by the author

The story is a good sequel to the first Ables book and is worth listening to. That being said, the reason I came to the Ables party was the voice of the Cinema Sins guy. Having someone else read the sequil is a bit jarring and I never quite got use to it. Like if Yahtzee Croshaw of Zero Punctuation had someone with an American acsent read one of his books. Still worth getting, but gets a Sin (Ding!).

Good, but not what I thought it was going to be

To start I'll say Great performance by the cast and I hope they do more. Always enjoy Lance Hendricks and Michael Bean.
This is a good story, just not what I was expecting. I thought this would be the story of Aliens making it to Earth. The story is actually closser to the Game Alien Isolation with some more world building and Hicks as the lead. That's not a bad thing. It's just not what I thought it would be based on all the rumors I heard about what Aliens 3 was supposed to be. I still highly recommend listing to this book/radio play. Just manage your expectations.

The Sandman Is Back, BABY!!!

This is exactly what wat I was hoping for. Though the Mad Max through hell story wasn't bad, I'm glad the series is getting back to what I loved about it. The supporting cast and their interactions with James is just as important as the Sandman himself.

The Parts with Thrawn are great.

This one might be better to read than listen to. I love all the parts with Thrawn in it, but the sections of the book with Padme and the hillbillies was painful to listen to.

Lovecraft and magic collide with bureaucracy

Another hilarious book by Yahtzee! Every time I thought I knew were the story was going, it went in a new direction. Yet, it all comes together nicely in the end. Well worth the credit.

This was the Phasma I expected in Force Awakens

Good back story for Captain Phasma. Though it does make it harder to believe that Fin, Han, and Chewbacca could have captured her without a fight. Also gives some insight into what the First Order is all about and what they believe in.

Performance is good and the score gives it the Star Wars feel. If you were hoping Captain Phasma would have gotten to do more in the Force Awakens than you'll like this audio book.

Not bad, but not what I was expecting.

I was hoping for war stories that cast Imperials as the good guys. Instead we got a spy thriller were the lines between good and bad are blurred. It would make sense if the characters were spys or bounty hunters, but it doesn't feel right for a Star Wars Battlefront story. This is a little fustrating as fan of the video game.

The naration is excellent. I hope she gets more audio book work.
