Great Series
Revisado: 12-20-20
This book like all the other 10 I have listened to is as usual great. The interaction between Col. Bishop and Skippy is hilarious and I have to be careful not to drink or eat something while listening to the book. I plots are well developed through out the series and the characters are easy to follow and develop through out the series. Great series can't wait for book 12. The reader is also great.

Historia
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

This is my first book from this author and I was greatly surprised when I listened to this book. The author has captured the true spirit of a military man in a tight situation. The dialog with the Super AI is great and has me smiling and laughing, so that my wife looks at me wondering what is so funny. After listening to the first book, I immediately purchased and download the remaining 6 books of the series. The book and the series are great.

Historia
"We require a different battlefield." Nobody expected the war to last three hours, let alone three years. The star system of Archangel holds the line against invading corporate fleets, but a quarter of its territory is already lost. The navy can't hang on much longer. Faced with this grim truth, Archangel's leaders shift their strategy to diplomacy and espionage. For both arenas, they call upon a reluctant weapon: a frontline grunt named Tanner Malone. These days Tanner doesn't aspire to win the war.

Earth is no longer the center of the universe. After the invention of the faster-than-light jump drive, humanity is rapidly establishing new colonies. But the vast distances of space mean that the old order of protection and interstellar law offered by Earth has ceased to exist. When a nearby world attacks, the new colony of Glenlyon turns to Robert Geary, a young former junior fleet officer, and Mele Darcy, a onetime enlisted marine.

Historia
The war with the Arduans - profoundly alien invaders who originally arrived in STL ships - is over. Most of those attackers are now probationary (and very productive) citizens of the Rim Federation. However, many among the Arduans' warrior caste have accepted neither defeat nor the personhood of any of the other intelligence races. Their leader, the ruthless admiral of the second Arduan exodus, Amunsit, is in firm control of the Zarzuela system.
