Loved it!

I hope this is the start of a new series. I’d love to add more of Shining Smith to my library along with Jane Yellowrock and Nell. Lots of action, I loved the weapons, the computers, and especially the cats, the cats were amazing! I really enjoyed it and hope there’s lots more.

It made me sad and angry that the secret June carried had to be a secret and that it was considered something bad.
Any additional comments?
I think I liked book 2 in this series even better than book 1. In this book June, a showy, confident, clubgirl is in love with J.D., the mob bosses son. J.D. Is in love with her too and is risking his father's wrath by declaring that love. June is hiding a huge secret, one that in the time setting of the story could be dangerous for her and ruin her life with J.D. if it's revealed. When the truth is revealed will J.D. still love her, and will he stand up to his father to protect her? I enjoyed this one, the ending is left a little bit open and Id like more of June and J.D.'S story.
