Words from the Warriors for God
Revisado: 12-07-23
Mr. Victor and his bride, Mrs. Eileen Marx are an exceptional couple with an outstanding message. These podcasts are truthful, real, and I was eager to hear each story or interview knowing there was going to be a valuable message in them all.
The podcasts are about the life experiences of Mr. Victor, a man who survived childhood trauma body and unspeakable abuse. God redeemed Mr. Victor and he found amazing purpose through Jesus. Now he live his life basically a specwar missionary that saves women and children in need. Along with Bible verses, a good dose of humor, and great guests, the couple asks thought provoking questions.
What I admire most about Mr. Victor and Mrs. Eileen is the redemption story they bring to others while they follow the Lord. Being able to grow stronger together toward Jesus and save countless others in the process. Really would describe them as warriors for Christ.

Intriguing short story
Revisado: 03-06-20
Great short story and narrators. Loved the way the story came full circle. Just over an hour long so definitely a good story for a long commute.

Historia
James Dommek, Jr., an Alaska Native writer and musician, sheds new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the US justice system. In the vast Alaskan Arctic, legend has it there once lived a mythic tribe—Iñukuns—that only existed in rumors and whispers. This changed forever when an actor-turned-fugitive, Teddy Kyle Smith, had an encounter that brought Iñukuns from myth to reality. Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

I didn't put it down!
Revisado: 01-02-20
I loved the authenticity of the story and the storyteller. The way the story moved and developed and the created a web. It captured my attention and it does make one ponder the intent and motive of the man and of the Ircinrraaq.

Historia
In 1927, Zora Neale Hurston went to Plateau, Alabama, just outside Mobile, to interview 86-year-old Cudjo Lewis. Of the millions of men, women, and children transported from Africa to America as slaves, Cudjo was then the only person alive to tell the story of this integral part of the nation's history. Hurston was there to record Cudjo's firsthand account of the raid that led to his capture and bondage 50 years after the Atlantic slave trade was outlawed in the United States. In 1931, Hurston returned to Plateau, the African-centric community three miles from Mobile.

American story telling
Revisado: 04-11-19
I loved the authentic dialect. I love the rich language and the story line. I loved how his history flowed and how the timelines were presented and weaved through this book. I felt the emotions. Hearing this story read to me may have been even better than reading the book for once even though I am from the area of the MS-AL Gulf Coast, I would have missed out by page alone.

Really needed to hear this
Revisado: 04-02-19
Even though the playing field is a little more level in my job, I still needed to hear this. I still need to be validated and I still needed to be reminded. I also need to hear the new truths and broad my mind to what I just didn't know. Now, I have to go forward with that and apply it. Great book.
