Great reader

These stories are enjoyable in their own right, but this excellent reader really makes them come alive! I love the character development in this series. They continue to grow in depth and complexity.

Juttering
Revisado: 12-07-24
Seems like the editors missed this one. It’s an okay mystery story with lots of back and forth between characters. Much of which could easily have been skipped.
The repeated use of the word ‘juttering’ is distracting and ridiculous.

With a tangled web of family and business contacts and jealousies, Gillard’s job just got even more complex. As he delves deeper into the Roy family, it’s clear that everything is not as it seems.

Interesting story, lots of twists
Revisado: 11-13-24
Poor recording. Although the narrator was good as usual something was very wrong with the recording equipment. When playing in my car one speaker would go off, also in ear phones. This was not a problem with my devices, but with the recording. The problem began in the last book and continued through this one. Poor editing by Audible. This should have been fixed before releasing the recording.

To make things worse, Liz is the ex-girlfriend of DCI Craig Gillard who is drawn into the investigation. Is it just a missing person or something worse? And what relevance do the events around the shocking Girl F case, so taken up by Knight, have to do with the present? The truth is darker than you could ever have imagined.

Not my favorite DI Hart mystery. But enjoyable nonetheless. Could have used a male and female narrator. Would have helped. Some good humorous or ironic writing as usual😄.
