Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Wonderful
Revisado: 01-16-23
Been listening to the news and all of the negative YouTube videos and this book told Harry’s side of the story. Well read by Harry and sounded truthful to me. So happy I read (listened) this book. I wish Harry and family happiness along with being reunited with his family in Britain. A good book.

Historia
Fourteen-year-old Greg Dixon is living a nightmare. Attending boarding school outside of Boston, he is separated from his family when a pandemic strikes. His classmates and teachers are dead, rotting in a dormitory-turned-morgue steps from his room. The nights are getting colder, and his food has run out. The last message from his father is to get away from the city and to meet at his grandparents' town in remote New Hampshire.

Nice story and so nice without flesh eating zombies. I loved this book and the ending.

Historia
Based on his widely read columns for The New Yorker, Ian Frazier’s uproarious first novel, The Cursing Mommy’s Book of Days, centers on a profoundly memorable character, sprung from an impressively fertile imagination. Structured as a daybook of sorts, with the Cursing Mommy - beleaguered wife of Larry and mother of two boys, twelve and nine - trying (more or less) valiantly to offer tips on how to do various tasks around the home, only to end up on the ground, cursing, surrounded by broken glass.

Waste of time
Revisado: 10-17-14
What would have made The Cursing Mommy's Book of Days better?
Nothing could make this book better. The first f bomb was slightly funny, but after that ... sheeesh! Can you say over kill?
Would you ever listen to anything by Ian Frazier again?
No
Would you be willing to try another one of Cynthia Nixon’s performances?
Yes, I thought she did a fine job. Her voice is clear and provides the right climate for the book.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Sadness for the main character.
Any additional comments?
The story could be funny, but too many f bombs along with a pathetic list of characters.
