Brilliant! Wonderful! All the adjectives!
Revisado: 08-21-23
I love how she doesn’t skip over massive scenes and actually takes time bringing everything together without dragging anything on and balances it perfectly
Lots of twists and turns and different scene styles and I didn’t think the books could get better but she smashed this
Brilliant book great finale to the series (for now????)
Absolutely loved it wasn’t sure how it would hold up but re read all three other books before this just so I could go in fresh without missing anything and it was worth it
JLA strikes again!

Brilliant (NO SPOILERS HERE)
Revisado: 01-21-23
I thought this would be the last book but when I neared the last few hours I knew there would be another book, too much more to learn and too many stories still.
A few wild twists throughout, very excited for the next book which apparently will be released early this year (2023). If you didn’t read the prequel, Ruthless Boys, then definitely recommend going back to it while you wait for the next book. It’s brilliant and gives a great background on Gabriel, Dante, Leon, Rosalie and the rest of their family referred to throughout!!

Not worth the hype
Revisado: 09-04-22
Not worth the hype, only finished it because it’s a pretty short book but I couldn’t wait for it to be over
Female narrator is bad at doing the male voice (all grumbly rough and not in a good way) and male narrator bad at doing the female voice (almost sounds like a child which is gross)
Makes it super weird and hard to listen to
Theres a few chapters that are heavily sex based that there’s no story line at all it’s just sex which is ok if you’re into that but literally there’s almost no story
Defs not continuing the series

Wow it’s starting to heat up
Revisado: 07-15-22
After reading the ACOTAR series I found it hard to initially get into TOG since I started it a day after finishing ACOTAR and it just felt like it couldn’t compare, but after finishing the first book and then this book I’m hooked - super different to ACOTAR but still same style of writing and brilliant female character. Sometimes hard to separate the different regions since they all have strange names I think it might be clearer if you were reading vs listening or maybe I’m just dumb lmao but it’s worth sticking to the series what an ending!!!

Interesting and somewhat funny but good
Revisado: 02-27-22
This book is half hilarious towards the beginning listening to edwards constant brooding if you don’t take it too seriously but god damn you just can’t put it down
It just gets better and better and I saw another review that said they wished there were more from his perspective and wasn’t sold on the idea before I started reading it thinking why would there need to be more but because it only covers the first book and it’s really good I now 100% agree
It’s so great learning more about each of the cullens especially emmett who is already just a 10/10 chad character but hearing his monologue is even funnier plus esmee who you really don’t know about in the books or movies, it makes all the relationships so much deeper and complex and is also good in the way that in the movie they can’t kiss but in this they kiss all the time lmao
If you don’t really like twilight then it may not be for you but if you’re a fan whether die hard or not it’s worth listening until the end

Historia
The idyllic quiet of a picture postcard English village is shattered when a book club member is murdered by his former student and lover. But why would anyone kill a retired English teacher, a pillar of his community? Perhaps the answer lies in the trail of writing that he, and his killer, left behind: diaries, poems and novels. Documentary maker Gillian Pachter lifts the lace curtain to reveal a secret wedding, sordid affairs, drug abuse and psychological torture. She enlists the help of James, a former student of the victim, to try and uncover the truth.

Really recommend!
Revisado: 10-25-21
This was the first podcast series I’ve listened to on audible and I loved it. I loved the female voice and the setting up of each characters. I loved how you remembered to remind us features about previously spoken about characters especially because that can become confusing when listening instead of reading!
I thought the narrators involvement would have been more drastic since she said it brought in some of her past but it wasn’t as significant and she head lined it at the start of the podcast first episode and then at the last episode.
It was a great piece absolutely smashed through it, very entertaining and a good voice to listen to - unlike many other crime series that send you right to sleep (and not in a good way). I disagree with a comment I saw that said it could have been two episodes. Completely absolutely disagree. There was so much to it that it needed all the episodes to build up who everyone was and the significance of every detail and twist and turn and background and foreground!!! It really put you there and you are able to construct such a clear picture of where everything is and what it looks like, especially for me since it is such a different place to the tone of Australian small towns!
Something to be very proud of, so much time was put into this and it has definitely shown! Well done!
