Deeper understanding
Revisado: 12-25-24
Therapy has been helpful. Going to groups where people recommend these books. Seemed like something to continue exploring. After dealing with it and having a deeper understanding of the family dynamics. I truly wanted to also understand emotionally immature people a lot better. This gives a lot of angles and perspectives. Even basics such as characteristics of emotionally mature versus emotionally immature. I recommend this book to anyone having trouble understanding why connecting with emotionally immature people is difficult. It’s discovering another layer to your authentic self. Cleared up a lot of confusion.

In this empowering guide, licensed therapist and bestselling relationship expert Nedra Glover Tawwab offers clear advice for identifying dysfunctional family patterns and choosing the best path to breaking the cycle and moving forward.

Emphasis and suggestions on healthy or appropriate management in high conflict, family situations
Revisado: 12-05-24
This book was recommended in a therapy group. I’m glad it was available on Audible. Plenty of friends with disabilities and myself included had quite dysfunctional families. With therapy and through reading this book I don’t feel guilty about setting boundaries with toxic people. Or what others called seizure triggers. Not only important to mental health, but eliminating or limiting those detrimental to my neurological health. I recommend this book to anyone who does not know where to start with boundaries. This will give you the confidence you need to not feel guilty or like it’s disrespectful to set a boundary just because it’s a family member.

She isn't showy; she just goes quietly about her business, collects her money, and goes home. It's when she's hired for a job in Minnesota that things become complicated for her. A defense attorney wants a rival eliminated, and that's fine. But then a witness survives, the attorney starts acting weird, this big cop Davenport gets on her case, and loose ends begin popping up faster than on an unraveling sweater

If you are a nympho into weird things this might be for you
Revisado: 05-24-19
The combination of Vikings and paranormal creatures is definitely interesting and the dirty detail as you would imagine pornography but use your own mental images, let’s just say if you are having time with yourself and like to do certain things and this is something you are into, it’s definitely a book for you. Person reading it doesn’t do too bad of a job with the voices.
