Unexpectedly good!

Initially i thought the reader would be too inappropriate for a true crime novel. This book is very different from the normal true crime. Safran is likable, hilarious and it's quite fascinating to go on his authorship journey with him in Jackson.

I prefer Nigel Planer and Stephen Briggs. Imrie is a bit whispery for my taste. I thought it was appropriate to have a female read the story, but it definitely fell flat. Her Librarian was extremely awkward. The story itself is alright. I enjoy Granny Weatherwax but the witches are probably my least favorite of the discworld characters. That being said, shes definitely still an entertaining and hilarious character. Worth a read, not a listen.

I enjoy Ann Rule's works most of the time, but this is the first time Ive heard her preform. It was pretty flat, monotone, and terrible. I enjoyed her other books read by others though. Wouldnt recommend this.

Mort, like many teenagers, is gangly, unpromising, and struggling with a menial job - in his case, as Death's apprentice. He can barely handle his simple task of ushering souls out of Discworld, but he really screws up when he meets the beautiful Princess Keli, who is scheduled to be assassinated. Going against his boss's wishes, Mort kills Keli's assassin instead, which angers and interferes with Fate. But Mort's heroism seems to be for naught, since Discworld proceeds as though Keli had been killed.

Death is probably my favorite of all of the Discworld series. Sam Vimes and the Nightwatch are a close second. The narration is done perfectly.
