Great Storyline but….

The narrator used a very wispy breathy voice for the female characters and it took away from the enjoyment (I was annoyed honestly) especially when the character was trying to convey a strong emotion

I love the series, but one line in this book got me a little upset. It reads 'her skin was too dark to be beautiful' understanding that this is a work of fiction, we have dark skinned people in this very real world we live in.

This was basically the 5th viewpoint of the same story retold, but I'm excited to hear Mel's story which sounds like it will be book 6. Mel wasn't an original character so the storyline should be fresh and new. Fingers crossed for the next one!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
This series puts a wonderful spin on dysfunctional relationships, I was able to laugh at the various similarities I have with the female lead and reflect on some more serious issue within my own life.

I loved this book from cover to cover, it's well worth the credit (but why waste a credit on book less than 10 bucks)

This book is very similar to every other vamp book you've ever read.
Did Christine Padovan do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Yes and that's about all she did properly. Her cadence was all wrong and the voice she used for the leading male was awful... didn't appeal or give any desirability
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Just an ordinary vamp falling for an ordinary girl…

This is a good read if you're bored and just need something..
