Great story and narration

Topic of incarcerated men is never a happy topic, but this story brought me along for the ride and before I knew it the book was finished. The narrator did a phenomenal job, which, in my view, can make or break and audiobook.

Books 1-10...Enjoyed each one!
Revisado: 01-08-25
I got the full set of Torrent Witches Audio Series when I was looking for something new to listen too. My expectations were not high, but I was hopeful. As the first book was well under way I found myself laughing out loud and slowly becoming invested in Harlow's life. I have enjoyed each book and was sad when the tenth one was over, though pleased with how the author, Tess Lake, finished off the story. I would be very happy if I were to hear that there were further books continuing Harlow and her families story, though they must be read by the same narrator. She did a fantastic job and is forever branded as the Torrent Witches voices in my head. For anyone looking for a fun book series to listen to, I would absolutely recommend The Torrent Witches!!

Another great story from Joy Ellis!
Revisado: 09-04-24
I have enjoyed all the books so far that I have listened to from Joy Ellis, and this one is no exception. This is a new cast of characters, with a few familiar thrown in, that I really hope the author expands on in the future. The narrator did a great job and I hope to hear more from her with this (hopefully) new series.

Historia
Becca has always known something is off about that room. The one at the top of the stairs. The one CB stayed in. Yes, a terrible tragedy occurred within those walls, but there is more to it than that. She had heard rumors about it, as well. Rumors about something happening to anyone who stays there for long periods of time. For over a year now, she had dismissed them as exactly that—rumors. But now, Mia is the one living in it. And Becca doesn't like the changes she is seeing in her… at all.

Good story...frustrating characters!
Revisado: 03-26-24
I got pulled into the Secrets of Redemption series and have overall enjoyed all of them. I will admit I spend some time talking back to my speaker as I'm listening to the story, saying things like,"Drink the d#*$ tea, Becca!", or, "For crying out loud, just talk to Daniel!". Becca seems too smart to act so dumb at times. I like Daniel and wish he played a bigger part. He brings the calm and sense when Becca is lacking, which seems to happen a lot. Still, the characters and storyline have drawn me in and I'm curious where this is all leading.
