Unconditional love at it’s finest!

While I have enjoyed this series tremendously, Amanda may be my favorite of the stories. The unending and unconditional love and support shown in this story made my heart swell with happiness.

An intriguing start to a series...

I generally love audiobooks as well as books in a series. This first book in the series was an intriguing start but it moved rather slowly for me. Honestly, the best part of this installment in the series was the epilogue.
I think I would have preferred to read it rather than listen as it was a challenge for me to keep up with the switch in the storyline between action and a memoir being read.
As one who reads a lot of Christian fiction, I was disappointed to hear a couple of terms of profanity. While I generally would not be offended hearing those terms in a book if I were reading a secular novel, the fact that this is Christian fiction had my expectations set higher.
I am intrigued enough by this start of the series and the various characters to continue with it and see how it all ends.
