The recording kept repeating lines

This recording was poorly edited.on numerous occasions lines were repeated over and over again. The story was good, the reader was good, but the recording was frustratingly bad. I hope the next one is done better.

A fun fast paced book of ghosts, criminals and serial killers and the young woman who is mixed up in it all. Love this series.

Would you listen to Witching on a Star again? Why?

Only if someone else reads the story. Its a fun read.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Witching on a Star?

Aunt Tillie on the Warpath with the ex-husbands. Always trying to sabotage there new Inn.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It is just that Valley Girl sound to the 3 girls. It just drives me crazy. They are not from Southern California so why make them sound like they are. I am from CA and none of us talk that way unless you are from Simi Valley. It makes them sound like self absorbed idiots.

If you could take any character from Witching on a Star out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Aunt Tillie she is a hoot.

Change readers or make her stop making the girls sound like they are from Southern California.

Fun, Witty, lovable

What was one of the most memorable moments of Witching You Were Here?

Aunt Tillie's constantly placing everyone on her list.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Aris?

Aris is a good reader but makes the 3 girls who are from Michigan sound like they are Valley Girls from Southern CA. "Like" they don't talk that way anywhere else but Southern CA so it was a bit of a problem for me to listen to them. I tend to read these books rather than listen to them because of that. Unfortunately I had already purchased several of the audible books when I bought the kindle books because they were discounted.

What made the experience of listening to Who, What, Where, When, Die the most enjoyable?

The story is a fun tale.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Avery, she is fun and snarky with a dose of self importance.

What didn’t you like about Angel Clark’s performance?

She does great on the female voices but the men she makes them sound like they are mentally slow and uncaring. It has spoiled the enjoyment of the first 2 books now. Both times I have stopped the audible book to finish reading the book myself. She ruined my listening enjoyment by doing that to the male characters. Maybe you should have a man read the male parts if she can't do it right.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yeah when I stopped listening and went back to reading it.

Unfortunately I have already purchased 6 of the audible books when I purchased the kindle version of the book because they were discounted. Live and learn.
