The story was good, although predictable. I liked all the characters. I felt Grania was a way overwrought when it came to Matt but otherwise a great character. I was sorry to see the book end.

Love the Author But….
Revisado: 03-16-25
This was so hard to get through. The story tried hard to be complex but seemed very contrived. It was way too long and way too melodramatic for me.

I liked the characters in this book even those that were hard to like. It was such a sad story, surprising me more than once. But the poignant ending did not disappoint.

Loved the intricate story. Unfortunately the narrator, for me, was awful. I forced myself to push through too many times. I recommend reading it.

Beautifully Written Mystery
Revisado: 01-14-25
I love all Lucinda Riley’s books and loved this book all the way to the end! The various characters were all very interesting. While I suspected, I really didn’t figure out the end until the end. However, without giving anything away, said end was a bit frustrating for me for sone reason.
