The description of the book says its more for the layman. I probably should have took that more literally. It was full of sub par analogies and very little substance. I use this strategy in my own life and I did take away one additional outlook regarding paying yourself back.

But so much of the book is unrelated metaphors that I found myself wondering what the book was actually about at times. For example, he makes the argument that life insurance has been around 200 years so its a proven concept...ok. But every chapter starts with a Bible verse to back that up. why? Life insurance wasn't around THAT long.

So many chapters are unrelated to actual life insurance that it was truly hard to finish.

being an investor with some previous experience, this book meant a little more to me then I think most amateur investors. The websites it mentioned are no longer up and it seemed to be more of a promotion for his classes. But good overall strategies depicted.

Very strong teaching of sound principles

There was very good information about sound principles of investing and saving. but most of the readers following this path will never become rich. Misses great opportunities in the real estate investing side which statistically speaking accounts for the majority of wealth.

I found this book to be more a philosophical conversation than actionable steps. it was good but not great. The book can really be summed up in the ultra Conservative and save a lot with several anecdotes to keep you just enough entertained along the way.

I discovered the author when coming across this YouTube channel and becoming intrigued. offers excellent, advanced strategies which at times need a little more in depth explaining than provided here. I assume that's done on purpose to sell his online course. but that being said, there's nuggets here that will accelerate my investing.

first book I've read in a long time that I actually felt the need to get out a notepad. excellent information and exactly what you need to know to gain an edge in real estate investing.

Outstanding...

this book was absolutely amazing. The authors information is actually extraordinarily simplistic but that's not the true value. The real value is found in the understanding and psychology of investing over many years and the simplicity it allows you with regard to your investments.

I previously was a financial advisor and can personally attest to just about everything he said being 100% true. I even analyzed some of my own investments and found underperformance in things that I had held on a pedestal. this book even helped me crystallize a new understanding of the use of an HSA which I had no idea about some of the strategies that can be used with it

a lot of good quality information for newer agents. good refresher for seasoned agents. nothing ground breaking. found there to be a lack of energy on the speaker
