Sorry... Really? Thrust? Anyway, Danny Kendrick was a down-on-his luck performer who always struggled to find his place. He certainly never wanted to be a hero. He just hoped to earn a living doing what he loved. That all changes when he pisses off the wrong guy and gets sucked into a fantasy realm straight out of a Renaissance Fair. Getting used to a new world is tough. It's even tougher when you're surrounded by axe-wielding barbarians, super hot elf assassins, strange magic, and a jaded System that doesn't appear interested in being charged with yet another companion.

Book 3 was actually interesting and written well making me have hope the author was improving . This was absolutely terrible with zero flow. I rarely have trouble getting through a book but this.. This was bad.

Greg and Julian need to make a choice—die in the tornado that’s sucked them up in their van, or agree to hunt monsters in a world full of magic and levels and, oh yeah…monsters. The two frat bros may be master ghost hunters to their podcast listeners, but they never expected their antics to be taken seriously by a goddess in another dimension. And since when are ghosts the same as monsters? Awkward. But when the other option is certain death, it seems like it’s worth giving it the old college try.

I love the world Eric Ugland is creating and Neil Hellegers voice acting. That being said, I do wish there was a new narrator for at least the main characters of each series. It would make an eventual meeting of the protagonist easier to distinguish with their own personalities. That being said I still love Neil’s reading

Good but over descriptive.

To much explaining in the beginning for unused crafting and skills. The long descriptive creating or referencing of the same "pro archer" would cause me to zone out since much of it wasn't pertinent to the story. It was still a decent book and I bought book two to see if it improved. Narrator performance was on point

I want a refund. Get Vikas back so I can re-listen. Luke Daniel's does great in his own stories but the switch was God awful and made it a painful listen. The characters and their concepts weren't even close to the originals and made it so grating on my ears that I could barely get through.
