Historia
What happens when the safest place you know becomes the center of your nightmares? In the third and final book of this hit series, we follow the Benard family as they slowly discover that the secrets of their little town run deeper than they could have ever imagined. With the discovery of security footage found buried on Rich Lowery’s property, a new round of suspects in Grady’s seedy criminal underground ring emerge. Will they be apprehended before they can commit more heinous crimes, or will the residents of Grady Lake have to take justice into their own hands?

What a finale!
Revisado: 05-07-25
The Grady Lake Series got better with each book, something that’s usually hard for me to say about a series. The finale tied up all loose ends in such satisfying fashion, but I can’t help but hope that JL Hyde revisits Grady Lake in the future. Outstanding story!

This book kept me guessing until the final twist. A really great novel by Liv Constantine. As always, Julia Whelan’s excellent narration sets an industry standard.

Historia
Anna has a life to envy. An apartment in New York. A well-meaning (too well-meaning?) partner. And a high-flying job in beauty PR. Who wouldn't want all that? Anna, it turns out. Turning a minor mid-life crisis into a major life event , she switches the skyscrapers of Manhattan for the tiny Irish town of Maumtully (population 1,217), helping old friends Brigit and Colm set up a luxury coastal retreat. Tougher than it sounds. Newsflash: the locals hate the idea. So much so, there have been threats—and violence.

Marian Keyes has written another stellar novel. The narration, also provided by Keyes, is as good as it gets. Excellent story, entertaining and meaningful. I love the Walsh sisters.

Historia
The worst thing to ever happen on Hemlock Circle occurred in Ethan Marsh’s backyard. One July night, ten-year-old Ethan and his best friend and neighbor, Billy, fell asleep in a tent set up on a manicured lawn in a quiet, quaint New Jersey cul-de-sac. In the morning, Ethan woke up alone. During the night, someone had sliced the tent open with a knife and taken Billy. He was never seen again. Thirty years later, Ethan has reluctantly returned to his childhood home. Plagued by bad dreams and insomnia, he begins to notice strange things happening in the middle of the night.
