Everything Griffin Calverson ever touched turned to gold, but his worldly success has only isolated him. Despite his millions, he is essentially alone and sworn to remain so - until he meets Araminta Woodhall, whose sultry beauty sets his heart on fire. A great listen!

I am new to the romance genre. This was by all
means a great introduction to it. I loved the historical aspect and enjoyed the character interaction and character development. The characters were human, nothing conjured about them. The tension created both between characters and within story plot was well done. Stephanie Cannon, too, did an excellent job as narrator. I’m looking forward to listening to more of Ms. Rothwell’s books.

Historia
It is late August 1892, and Sophia Tims is coming home from a foreign Age, having risked her life in search of her missing parents. Now she is aboard a ship, with a hard-earned, cryptic map that may help her find them at long last. But her homecoming is anything but peaceful. Threatening clouds hang over the New Orleans harbor. Sinkholes have been opening in Boston, swallowing parts of the city whole. Rogue weirwinds tear up the Baldlands.

S.E. Grove thinks outside the box in crafting a thoughtful as well as entertaining trilogy. The stories successfully create a world (s), characters and a plot which grows and develops. I highly recommend this trilogy to both young and old alike. There are many ideas worth discussing reflected in current issues of the world today.
