Amazing Story and Narrator

Zane Michaelson wrote another fantastic series and added a twist keeping his fans happy and satisfied.
How that satisfaction comes you’ll have to listen the whole story to find out.

While listening I'm reminded of unconditional love

I have never read or listened to a series that has attached itself to my heart as much as this. I felt the authors emotions deeply. Knowing this is based on the author’s real life makes each word stronger. The narrator does an amazing job of putting feeling into the story. Parts of this story are very heart wrenching. By the end his words will rip you apart.
My heart hurts for everyone. While listening I am reminded of unconditional love. It’s the kind of love that fights to survive during the good times and bad.

Part 3 of this story explains so much about the man who wrote this series. Reality isn't always pretty. You may not like all parts of this book. In fact there are some really uncomfortable parts. Some may even upset and anger you but remember this is one man’s life experience that is being shared out loud. It goes into some very dark places that only someone who has tried to punish themselves could ever understand. I love how raw and real everything is. I understand the way Jenna deals with the betrayal of her husband. Her emotional state in the finale brought me to tears. Zane's emotional state brought me to my knees.By the end I was sobbing.

This story is embeded in my heart

Angel of Mine made my heart flutter with sadness and joy. A deep story of love and total commitment. It is full of pure love. Zane Michaelson slowly discloses Gabriella and Angelo story and reached inside my heart. I found myself tearing up in one chapter only to be smiling with the next.
I originally read this story. Listening to the audio version allowed me to really absorb the story. Paying close attention to the details I missed while reading

The narration & story are a perfect

The Audio Review
The narrators fit perfectly with the characters. I was able to distinguish each person without any confusion which is sometimes difficult to pull off. The switch between genders and narrators flowed seamlessly.
The Story Review ---
I wanted to hate everything about Alex Winslow. From the beginning of the story he is an arrogant jerk. Nothing about him was attractive to me. I wondered how LJ Shen could put such a leading man in her story. I related to Indigo as the simple, caring and determined woman who is willing to anything she can to better her life and help her family. There was no way Alex and Indie would every be a believable couple.
Then came the switch in my attitude towards them.
LJ Shen made me fall head over heels in love with Alex. I'm still shaking my head as to exactly when my heart switched and exactly how she did it. Page after page, I stayed up for hours needing to know more about them.
Then came the twist! I screamed at my iPad! Blindsided! Not at all what I expected.
This was my first book by LJ Shen. I have already downloaded the next one.
If I could rate it higher that 5 Stars it would be at the top of my list! Not just for a Rockstar rom but on my overall list!

A great start to a new series by Zane Michaelson

Zane Michaelson continues to blow me away with his original stories and his writing style. His ability to capture Cammie's inner thoughts were exactly the way I would expect her to think. A little sassy and a whole lot sexy. Cammie is taking control of her sexual pleasure and gives but expects to get in return. Her inner thoughts about the young guy she finds alluring is hot!! Not to mention the steamy interactions with Zander. Gabby Sparklers voice fit Cammie's character perfectly. I was so entranced I listened without a break.

I think I'm in love

I dont read/listen to a lot of MC books but this one grabbed my attention. After reading Duke I had to read about Roger. I love the sassiness of Devon. The struggles with the age difference was written into the story is such a way I needed to now more while listening. Loved every bit of this story and am anxious for more.

Listening to this story unfold gave me the shivers. The push and pull of duke and Shanna kept me listening and wanting more. Dukes protective nature made me love him! I Cant wait to read book 2

Heartbreaking and Amazing

An emotional ending to Zane Micharlsons story left my heart aching with sadness. The narrator conveys this story with such depth I was holding my breath. This wasn’t easy to listen to at times but it was real. Not a make believe story. It is based on Jenna and Zane Michaelson life.

I appreciate the honesty told in this book. These are not stand alone books. Start at the beginning with She Loves to Watch Me Play. Bring some tissues as the emotion ups and downs will bring on the ugly cry at some point. It did for me.

The emotional story and the swoon worthy voice

Part 2- Hearing this story from this fantastic narrator did exactly what an audiobook is supposed to do. It brought the words to life.
Zane Michaelson’s honesty while telling the “readers” about this very private time in his marriage made me ride a roller coaster of emotions.
Sexy, heartbreaking, angry, empathetic, and need. I need to know how his life continues after this part ends.
I’m anxious to hear more.

Oh Man.... My emotional roller coaster is wiped out and it’s only part 1

I purchased this audiobook after reading and rereading this book. It is one of my favorites.

The story of Zane and his journey to find a way to deal with his discontentment captivates me.
I already love this book and series in it’s entirety but there is a whole new level of emotions hearing the words spoken out by the narrator.

Book 1 introduces Zane’s infidelity. My heart broke for his wife Jenna and their girls.
This audio version added a level of anger and frustration it didn’t feel while reading.

Where I focused on the relationship between Zane and Chad while reading my book, all I heard from the narrator was a man confessing his cheating on his family. I didn’t expect this heart wrenching emotion from hearing the words spoken to me as apposed to reading them. Tears came to my eyes while listening and imaging Jenna’s pain.

The interactions with Chad where felt a little differently as well. While they are still hot and sexy, that underlying hurt was always there.

The narrator did a fantastic job bringing Zane Michaelson’s story to life.

I can’t wait to start on listening to Book 2
Our Dirty Little Secrets.
