Book 4 of the Jewel of the Highlands series was always one of my favorites and I was anxious to listen to it in Audible and I was not disappointed but found it even better. To hear the characters come to life and speak the written word is just amazing to me and brings so much more depth to the story. Ethan is such an interesting character and I found his story with Kayla fascinating. I particularly loved when he had to go after Kristin and then they both ended up in another time and faced an evil man. The story line of Heather goes off the deep end and I found it shocking and couldn't understand what was drawing her need for power. The narrator does such an amazing job as he did in the first 3 books. I love his Ethan voice!

Just finished listening to the 3rd book of this fantastical series. Not only does Alick get a new mate in this book but some of the other men in both clans do as well. This book brings in a bunch of new characters to love/hate and I love the tie in to old Viking history. Kristen and Daisy are quite the duo and keep going back and forth between time to secure mates for their clansmen and such interesting story lines develop. The narrator does a fantastic job again with all the various characters but stays true to the voices of the original characters - what a gift he has! I hated for the book to come to an end (just like the first time I read it) and hope that the last two books will also be put into audible to enjoy hearing them as well. Can't recommend listening to this series enough.

I have read the Jewel of the Highlands series many times but to now be able to hear it spoken is just bringing the story to another level. The narrator has done an amazing job not matter if he is Kristen or Cain or Tessa or Liam or any of the characters. He brings such depth to each voice and so much emotion and sometimes I forget that a male is doing a female voice - very talented. But the story is the draw here. This is such a wonderful storyline and so creative. I love that you go back in time to beautiful Scotland and are met with such interesting men. The women though in this story are such wonderful, good, strong females and I love that they stick to their guns and even though they might fall for one of these mystical men, they don't lose themselves. I hope the narrator will do all 5 books in this series! Rebecca Ratliff, you are such a creative writer and wonderful storyteller - thank you for putting this on audible!

Greyson brings so much more to this series

Wow, just finished Greyson and I can't wait to hear the next book, Alick. This story just brings me into another world, that I am happy to go to. I love being in Scotland with these powerful women. Kristen is like no other and Daisy and Tessa are her wonderful support team. Their men are amazing and so protective - which I love! The narrator does such a fantastic job with all of the voices capturing each individual. I loved the way he changed Kristen's voice when she turns. But it is the story itself that is so captivating. I have read these books numerous times but to "hear" the words spoken is like experiencing it for the first time and brings it all to life. I can't recommend this series and these audible renditions of Jewel of the Highlands series enough, so enjoyable.

Great narration of a great story!

I love the Black Jack series and was so thrilled about this new audible narration. The narrator did a great job playing out all the characters, especially Black Jack and brought real emotion and feelings to the story, especially humor. Highly recommend!
