I listen to 2-3 audio books a week, this one stood out as being one of the best in a long time. Intriguing plot from the beginning. Excellent narration. Completely captivating main character. Painstaking attention to detail from the time period but never getting bogged down. Story moved at a good pace. Absolutely loved it!

Most engrossing, exciting and cannot-put-down book I’ve read in a very long time. Intricate plot, well developed characters and fast paced story line. Loved it from beginning to end. Narration was exemplary. Never grating, fantastic differentiation between multiple characters. One of the best I’ve had the pleasure to listen to.

A must read one of a kind masterpiece

Filled with pathos, cool science and laugh out loud humor this is one of the most thoroughly entertaining books I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. And one of the few that is far more suited to the audio version than the written. Narrator’s personality and inflection has you cheering for him from the beginning and succeeds in putting the listener right there beside him in that space ship. Bravo!
