decided to revisit one of the first romance novels I read as a teen, the innocence of this series can't even begin to touch the books I read/listen to now. it was spicy for its time when I was young, a nice to revisit but too tame for my adventurous tastes, trigger warning? don't know her.

Just ok.

The story was ok at best, I became bored and was unable to finish listening. I also found the narration to add to the disinterest. The intonation, pitch, and speed made much of the story feel like it was read by Siri or a similar program. There were pauses, and an emotionlessness that took away from the story.
