Historia
An unexpected phone call heralds a new challenge for Mercy. Her mate Adam’s ex-wife is in trouble, on the run from a stalker. Adam isn’t the kind of man to turn away a person in need—and Mercy knows it. But with Christy holed up in Adam’s house, Mercy can’t shake the feeling that something about the situation isn’t right. Soon her suspicions are confirmed when she learns that Christy has the furthest thing from good intentions. She wants Adam back, and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get him, including turning Adam’s pack against Mercy.

Loved it and disliked it.
Revisado: 03-29-16
I loved it because Mercy is like a real person I know, which I know a lot of people can't believe someone can be that forgiving and understanding, but they exist. The story is great in how Mercy displays her love and concern for her friends and family. This display shows how it affects those around her, just look at Coyote.
As for the dislike, the Christy character is a lot like other people I know, which is very sad.
The relationship between Adam and Mercy is good, but I wish there was more of Adam's take on what is going on. But the books are titled Mercy Thompson for a reason so all we are going to get is Mercy's view on things.
Give Ms. Briggs books of Mercy a chance, but if you don't like vindictive, spiteful, and self asorbed people then you won't like Adam's ex-wife or most of the pack towards Mercy. If you can't stomach someone who is forgiving and understanding, then you won't like Mercy either. I think there should be more people like Mercy, but there are more people like Christy and the pack instead.

Historia
When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Just Wrong!
Revisado: 04-22-15
I am truly sorry that I read some of this book. I can't even finish it. This is only the second time in my life that I have never finished a book. I guess you get what you deserve when reading erotica like you do watching porn. Just plain crap.

Historia
Being a goddess is a lot less fun than you might think. Especially when you're only a half goddess, you only found out about it recently, and you still don't know what you're doing half the time. And when you've just used your not-so-reliable powers to burglarize the booby-trapped office of a vampire mob boss. Yeah, that part sucks. But that's just the tip of the iceberg for Cassandra Palmer, aka the Pythia, the freshly minted chief seer of the supernatural world.

Complex story telling with non stop action!
Revisado: 01-06-15
I've read other comments on how others have found Ms. Chance's style of story telling hard to understand, but I think that may be because they were expecting a romantic story with a little of action and adventure in it. Well there is some romance, but the action and adventure is almost non stop. I would love more romance to happen between Cassie and John because he has more of a future to offer than a vampire, we will have to see.
So if you are trying to read these books for the romance you will be sorely disappointed. If you are use to reading complex stories of battle and the trials the hero or heroine have to go through to achieve the peace they want then these are the books for you.
You have to understand the time line Ms. Chance is sticking Cassie in; she has been sheltered all her life then all of a sudden she is thrown into this crazy position of power and expected to save not only Earth, but the demon and fairy world's as well from Gods! Cassie is only doing all of this with in a three month period with no training in anything! I would be freaking out and going insane if it were me.
So if you love to read stories of the impossible odds the heroine has to face and maybe be a little freaked out by all of it while she is doing it then this story will please you. It makes for some very funny moments where I was cry laughing my head off. These books would make for a wonderful TV series; hint...hint out there anyone?
If you ever read your readers comments Ms. Chance could you please add more romantic scenes with John and Cassie! I mean some really sizzling ones! Please!

Cassandra Palmer may be the all-powerful Pythia now, but that doesn't mean people have stopped trying to kill her. Most of the supernatural power players don't want independent-minded Cassie as chief clairvoyant - and they'll stop at nothing to see her six feet under.

Just love the story!
Revisado: 01-02-15
The characters and the follow of the story is wonderful. The interaction between the main character and the guys she has to deal with is just side splitting fun.
