The story was inspirational and what I loved most was the author’s humility and affection for the indigenous troops he fought with.

Story of America hating immigrant but wants all the opportunities America has to offer
Revisado: 05-30-24
Being an Asian who has traveled the world, America is not unique in bigotry and prejudice, where I have seen more bigotry in Asia and Europe than in the US. This guy is just one big crybaby who bashes the country that has given him and his family so much opportunity. I couldn’t finish the last few chapters. He is the reason why this country is turning into a shit show. Ungrateful and spoiled.

Great story, didn’t like the narrator
Revisado: 03-14-18
Compelling and heartfelt story, but the narrator’s NY Accent was irritating, especially after hearing the author interview at the end he didn’t have a thick NY accent.

Good Story
Revisado: 02-11-08
I enjoyed the book, it seems well researched and tied in well with the actual events of the time. I did have a problem with two things, it seemed to end abruptly and I wanted it to go on a bit longer and the narrator kept pronouncing 10th corps as "EX" corps. Apparently, he's not familiar with Roman numerals.

This is the first audible book I have ever purchased which I had to stop halfway into the story because it was so bad. The story just seemed to drone on and on without any point, and the premise was weakly supported that it was not very believable.

Historia
President Bill Clinton's My Life is the strikingly candid portrait of a global leader who decided early in life to devote his intellectual and political gifts, and his extraordinary capacity for hard work, to serving the public. It is the fullest, most concretely detailed, most nuanced account of a presidency ever written, and a testament to the positive impact on America and on the world of his work and his ideals.

Interesting
Revisado: 06-23-04
A great read for his fans, but to most people who are neither fans nor foes, a disappointment. No new revelations or taking responsibility for his actions, just excuses for his actions and criticisms of those who opposed him. As for his impeachment, I don't think he understands that regardless of the topic, you don't commit perjury under oath.

Clear and Concise
Revisado: 12-03-03
This book traces the connection between the Wahabi sect of Islam and the current rise of Islamic fundamentalist terrorism. It makes a clear destinction between the peaceful mainstream Islam and the more radical and violent Wahabi sect. The history of this sect, their beliefs, and their supporters, mainly the Saudi royal family, are documented in detail. This book clearly provides the best explanation of why 9/11 occurred and highlights the hate filled dogma of this religous sect which compels terrorists to commit murder.

The Da Vinci Code
Revisado: 06-17-03
Good thriller, however, one must remember this is fiction based on some history and legend, not on fact. Many details on the background of the Templars, for example, were inaccurate or just fictional, so remembering that this is fiction makes the book more enjoyable. There were some parts that were pretty easy to figure out early in the book, like the identity of the main villain, so this kind of took away some of the suspense in the story. The narration was not as bad as I was led to believe based on earlier reviews.
