The narrator for this audiobook was excellent. Book is deep and through account of the early life Neice of the current leader of Scientology. It gives a harsh reality and light to a lot of aspects of Scientology that I don't think a lot of people realize exist. Incredibly insightful, and well-worth listening to. Packed with so many intimate details that really make you feel transported into Jenna's life.

The authors do an amazing job of informing the reader to the warning signs of toxic groups, as well as accompanying it with advice on how to recognize healthy organizations. More than that, Lalich and McLaren set the stage for 60+ cult survivors to be able to tell their stories through the chapters of this informative, helpful, and difficult-to-put-down book. Highly recommend.

Sarah Edmondson tells us, in excellent detail, of her experiences, thoughts, and conversations over her time in NXIVM. We learn how an incredibly intellectual woman fell victim to a system and man that claimed to be doing good. Her struggle, her courage, and her resilience shine through in this book of the whistle-blower that started the crumbling of a toxic cult.

The Program is an excellent chronicling of Toni Natalie's time in ESP/NXIVM. Everything about her experience is personal and incredibly detailed, and shows a background to Keith Raneire that we may not have otherwise seen.

As a cult survivor, I have found so much in this book to be incredibly helpful. I have only listened to the book once, and plan to listen to it again in a few days, as it recommends. However, it has already helped me unearth and recognize so many behaviors I have suffered through in the previous years. More so, it mentions a group that I used to be involved with and didn't realize it was also a cult until Steven Hassan mentioned it by name and started describing part of my early twenties. I cannot stress enough how important, and useful this book is. It is worth it.

I had been waiting for this book to come out, and it was quite riveting. As someone who has read Sarah Edmondson's book, India Oxenberg's book, and Toni Natalie's book, as well as watching The Vow; This is an EXCELLENT linking of timelines in an easily digestible manner. Interviews with survivors I had never heard from before, and the viewpoint of a truly invested journalist. Book is well worth it. 💙

Still Learning is an autobiographical delight by India Oxenberg. Telling snippets of her life, of her raising, and setting the stage for the vulnerable time she spent as a part of the NXIVM community. Audiobook is read by the author, herself! Very calm and consistent pacing, with a riveting story to tell. Literally the first audiobook I've listened to start-to-finish in YEARS. Worth the listen.
