Poor pace of the story.
Revisado: 04-02-24
I have 2 hrs left and I don't think this book will conclude the story. This book has been fluff so far. Very disappointed.
I hope I can come back and change this review when I'm done.

I kept hoping the story would pick up the pace and it never did. I then hoped for a great ending - IT WAS NOT!

Historia
When Mitch Rapp captures ISIS’s top technology expert, he reveals that he was on his way to meet a man who claims to have the ability to bring down America’s power grid. Rapp is determined to eliminate this shadowy figure, but the CIA’s trap fails. The Agency is still trying to determine what went wrong when ISIS operatives help this cyber terrorist do what he said he could — plunge the country into darkness. With no concept of how this unprecedented act was accomplished, the task of getting the power back on could take months. Perhaps even years.

The story seemed rushed and lacked detail.
Revisado: 05-08-21
As I listened I kept realizing the story seemed to be skipping forward while leaving out detailed parts. It was as if there was a time limit or word count at play. Even the ending seemed rushed.

Slow ramp up
Revisado: 12-21-19
Liked it well enough. It seemed the story was slow to get up to speed. The amount of technical details seemed to go overboard at points.
Good book though.

Accurate
Revisado: 09-08-10
Having worked in and watched the record industry over the past 35 years, I can say that this book hits the problem on the head. While it's not really a problem for us consumers, it's what my current friends in the business are dealing with. Trying to get and stay rich as they did in the old days.
I could envision people I know in the industry throughout this listen. Even, unfortunately, the ones who have lost their jobs as a result of the digital revolution.
