Historia
Ex-military policeman Jack Reacher is a drifter. He’s just passing through Margrave, Georgia, and in less than an hour, he’s arrested for murder. Not much of a welcome. All Reacher knows is that he didn’t kill anybody. At least not here. Not lately. But he doesn’t stand a chance of convincing anyone. Not in Margrave, Georgia. Not a chance in hell.

Excellent First Novel!
Revisado: 02-18-19
Jack Reacher is always time well spent. Lee Child has written many Reacher books. I wanted to start at the beginning and find out where Reacher came from. What his story was. In doing that I stepped into a gigantic conspiracy and wonderful characters. Lee Childs doing his usual fabulous work. Want to go on the road & find an adventure? Reacher is your man!

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Fun & thrilling romp through an Irish Wedding
Revisado: 11-23-17
Crazy, complex, well-narrated story of an Irish village invaded by outsiders. They come to plan and "execute" a wedding. Story is well planned. Characters interesting if a few too many and a bit confusing. Names lovely and Irish but overwhelming for an American reader to hear again and again. A fun book and a good read. Bet you can't guess who the KILLER is?!?!

Historia
We expect our judges to be honest and wise. Their integrity and impartiality are the bedrock of the entire judicial system. We trust them to ensure fair trials, to protect the rights of all litigants, to punish those who do wrong, and to oversee the orderly and efficient flow of justice. But what happens when a judge bends the law or takes a bribe? It’s rare, but it happens. Lacy Stoltz is an investigator for the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct. She is a lawyer, not a cop, and it is her job to respond to complaints dealing with judicial misconduct.

Revisado: 03-05-17
Struggled to finish the book. Not your typical Grisham thriller. Narrator is adequate. Perhaps it will make a good movie. The idea of the book is clever. but execution is boring. Sorry to say it. Took me months to finish it. Just didn't want to listen to it.
