Historia
Luci LaBang is a star: For decades this flamboyant drag artist has cast a spell over screen and stage. Now she’s the leading lady in a smash hit musical. But as time takes its toll, Luci fears her star is beginning to dim. When Luci’s co-star meets with a mysterious accident, a new ingenue shimmers onto the scene: Luda, whose fantastical beauty and sinister charm infatuate Luci immediately . . . and who bears a striking resemblance to Luci herself at a much younger age.

Hated it!
Revisado: 01-10-23
I know hate is a horrible word to use, and I rarely ever use it. But it’s the right word for this audible book. The reader is too dramatic. The story rambles on with no point and I find my mind drifting. Typically I get consumed with the story and can barely stop listening. I found listening to the story painful. Sorry, just my opinion.

Historia
Preston and Constance Whittier have built a happy life together, with a brood of six children raised in a beautiful historic Manhattan mansion. Now, with a nearly empty nest, it’s easier than ever for the Whittiers to maintain their tradition of a solo romantic “Wintermoon” ski trip. But with this year’s trip comes tragedy, and suddenly the Whittier’s adult children find themselves reuniting in the family home without their parents for the first time ever. The eldest four are forced to put aside their personal issues and their grief to keep the family together.

Predictable
Revisado: 12-07-22
I’ve never listen to, or read a Danielle Steele book before, but was entertained and not excited. The story was very predictable, although charming. characters was often too long and too much. I found myself saying get on with it!

Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

Charlie was a prince!
Revisado: 11-15-22
My first Stephen King book, and I loved every page of it. I found myself standing beside Charlie and radar and a journey to a fantasy world.
The flow of the story was perfect and the characters well defined. I could visualize both worlds and the journey. I felt the emotion of the characters and how the story painted the picture of every scene.
Hunting for the next Stephen King book now.

A Nirvana world – unrealistic
Revisado: 02-15-22
This could have been a great story but it Took place in the world where everybody was gay, married and either had children or wanted children. I actually found myself saying out loud WTF this is unrealistic. Yes, I wish it were real but it’s not a realistic picture of gay life. The plot with the 3 kids was nice but never concluded.

Disjointed storyline
Revisado: 01-14-22
I Purchased this audiobook because I enjoyed Louise Penny‘s book “the devils are here”. This story was disjointed with too many players, a forced Storyline but dragged on so long that I finally just stopped listening at chapter 30. Could not give any more of my time to this book
