Historia
Everyone's favorite octogenarian is back, and together with his pals in the Old-But-Not-Dead Club, he is more determined than ever to wreak havoc and turn a twinkly eye on the brighter side of life. After a year spent mourning the death of his beloved friend Eefje, Hendrik may be older and a little more wobbly, but his youthful appetite for mischief hasn't diminished. When fears arise that the home is set for demolition, it's up to Hendrik and the Old-But-Not-Dead Club to intervene.

Excellent! Except...
Revisado: 04-20-19
Shane has an excellent weekly blog I recommend highly at fs.blog that I’ve read for a couple of years so I looked forward to the release of the TGMM audiobook. It doesn’t disappoint.
I agree with another reviewer that it needs a pdf or, my preference, would be for Amazon to offer a package of the audiobook with the book itself, not a Kindle version since I don’t like reading on one. It wouldn’t be possible here since Audible was given a 6 month head start before the book is available.
A couple of areas for improvement in the next release after listening to this one twice. First, let us know when you’re moving from one mental model to the next since I thought the segues were weak.
Second, the audiobook is short at under 3 1/2 hours so volumes could be combined. It’s great for Shane and Audible that I will buy 5 audiobooks but not for me. However, in the true spirit of Hanlon’s Razor I’ll assume there was a reason to do it this way.
Since I am a member of the club that believes authors should record their audiobooks so I thoroughly enjoyed Shane’s recording while keeping in mind my point to improve the movement from one mental model to the next.
In summary I suggest buying this audiobook and the ones that follow. In addition to seeing where my past thinking has gone astray and led to less than wise decisions I am confident the knowledge will at least make me stop and think through the ‘effects of the effects’, Second Order Thinking, of future decisions.
I am grateful for the time and effort Shane has put into this project. It has helped me and it will help many others.
Thank you.

Learn from the best!
Revisado: 07-26-17
If you could sum up New Sales. Simplified. in three words, what would they be?
Learn. Apply. Succeed.
What did you like best about this story?
This book is a 'how to' guide to sales success by helping our clients and customers get what they want and need.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The chapter on making pro-active phone calls.
Any additional comments?
If you buy the audio version I strongly suggest buying the book too. It's easier finding key points you want to review in the hard copy than the audio book.

Terrible-Save your money1
Revisado: 04-07-17
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
No one.
What do you think your next listen will be?
Chris Voss
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Janet Attwood didn't narrate the book she simply asked Jay Abraham about the results of a passion test he took that she designed.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Very disappointing. I love listening to Jay Abraham but in my opinion this was nothing but a bad recording of a telephone call sold to make money.
Any additional comments?
Buy one of his other audio books. You will hear better ideas, the recording will be clear and easy to understand and there won't be any background noise that included a ringing phone.
