Historia
Coke and Pepsi McDonald didn’t want to jump off a cliff. They didn't want to get hit by poisoned darts from blowguns either. And they certainly don't want to get locked in their burning school, thrown into a pit at the top of a sand dune, or drowned in a vat of liquefied Spam. But what are you supposed to do when you’re being chased across the country by your insane health teacher and two guys in bowler hats who are trying to kill you? One thing's for sure, it'll be a snap for Coke and Pep to write their essays on "How I Spent My Summer Vacation."

Massive Fail at Trying to Make an Educational Book
Revisado: 02-21-19
I got the feeling that this book was attempting to teach kids, but cover it up with storyline to make it fun. Personally, I think that education through books is great! The problem with this book is that that plot is dismal, and littered with a ridiculous amount of clichés. For Instance, The Antagonist, He is as stereotypical a villain as you can get. The book gives off a sense that in the mind of the author, education comes first, which isn't a bad principle, but actual quality writing is about number thirty on the list of priorities. On top of all this, the educational part is also horribly written and conveyed! I think that a truly could book doesn't try to sneakily make you learn, a good book makes you know you're learning, and lets you enjoy it! If you want you're child to learn, and have fun doing it, there are millions of other books out there that do a much better job doing it.

A Great Finisher for the Wings of Fire Series
Revisado: 08-12-17
If you could sum up Darkness of Dragons in three words, what would they be?
Funny, clever, amazing
What was one of the most memorable moments of Darkness of Dragons?
There are to many to list.
What about Shannon McManus’s performance did you like?
Shannon McManus’s does the voices perfectly. Also, when a new story arc starts, some series get new narrators, but she has stayed for the entire series.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I did listen to it all in one sitting.
Any additional comments?
I was worried it wouldn't be as good as the others, but I was wrong. If anything it was better.

Historia
Supervillains do not merely play hooky. True, coming back to school after a month spent fighting - and defeating - adult superheroes is a bit of a comedown for the Inscrutable Machine. When offered the chance to skip school in the most dramatic way possible, Penelope Akk can't resist. With the help of a giant spider and mysterious red goo, she builds a spaceship and flies to Jupiter. Penny and her friends find all this and more on Jupiter's moons, but what they don't find are any heroes to save the day.

It was good but not as good as the other two books
Revisado: 05-21-17
If you could sum up Please Don't Tell My Parents I Blew Up the Moon in three words, what would they be?
Creepy, mediocre, inferior.
What does Emily Woo Zeller bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Emily Woo Zeller is a good narrator, almost making up for the story.
Any additional comments?
The scene early on in the Red Panacea Clinic was horrible, and well summarizes the book. It contains cancerous deformed goat horrors that could have easily been left out of the overall series. Why would this be a good direction to take the series in?
