A gem in an oversaturated genre of the mediocre
Revisado: 01-06-23
A solid 7.5/10 but maxed review to stand out above the generic oversaturation that can be difficult to weed through.
If you got Kindle Unlimited then pick up its free novel and buy this audiobook for <$8. I would even recommend using a Credit considering the novel's length.

"I'm immortal... but don't tell anybody"
Revisado: 11-05-21
I'm very pleased to see another fan favorite novel of a RoyalRoad novelist debuting in audiobooks.
This novel has a very funny MC who's over the top commitment to bringing you your mail will leave millions of damages in his wake.
In a world where you're "immortal" and no one remembers you most of the time, you find yourself living for self made goals "quests" and the world is your RPG.
Mr Summerer has done a fantastic job in bringing a voice to our MC. He hasn't failed to capture his wit.

I like the story and have been waiting for Book 4 but he takes over a year for a re-release of Book 3 and honestly I can't tell the difference. All the main points are there and Im pretty sure nothings new.

Can't win for losin'...As any gambler will tell you, luck runs hot and cold. For my many sins I've been forced to scrape a life out of poker games and side-jobs on the fringes of civil society. I thought I hit it big when I raked 50-grand off the table at a roadhouse in Texas. It is amazing what a win can cost you. Now, on the run from a drug cartel headed by an unstoppable juggernaut, pursued by a shape-shifting killer, and framed for attempted murder, I have to protect a girl with a bounty on her head.

And martial artists who could use magic. Three years of living his life as one of the citizens, those without power, and Ash has figured out how to survive with his adoptive family and a lot of persistence. His goals in life have become to give back to those who gave to him. And he’d do whatever he had to to do that. Except Ash is about to get his life turned around again.

American Pragmatist in a Chinese Wuxia Universe!!!
Revisado: 12-07-18
William D Arand knows his work!!! He puts an everyday American pragmatist transmigrated to a Wuxia Universe. He will refuse the cultural etiquette of "face slapping". He is attacking when his opponents have begun their 10min pre-fight speeches of lineage superiority, heavy coin purse jingling, and the standard Wuxia myriad shit talking. Arand has soothed my soul from all those web novels I've read that needed some good old American oil to lubricate the encounters. HAHA! This novel I rank 100/100. It is worth your credit and if you read Wuxia, you'll enjoy this :)

Historia
At long last, an extraterrestrial civilization reached out and made the First Contact. However, no one on Earth took their communique for the genuine article. In a similar vein, very few people appreciated just how little time our new suzerains had promised to keep our planet safe. Regardless, the end of their message showed humankind how to access a mysterious game. The objective of this game is unclear. No one can say where its servers are located, and its inner workings are beyond comprehension.

A Breath of LITRPG Fresh Air!!
Revisado: 10-19-18
It is a great blending of Fantasy/Sci-fi and LITRPG elements. It has a flowing story that isn't a cookie cutter of the genre so it gives you a fresh breath of air. You must also understand that the story is a translation of its Russian father, so sometimes your Western thinking will pause to think about things and you'll think it's the story stuttering but it's not, it's your mind lol. Remember to think of the cultural difference and you can understand the character better. Notice how he appears to be overly submissive to people in authority or government agents because in countries like Russia and China they're military state countries, with zero flexibility to a resistance of authority (usually ending in death or LONG imprisonment). So go easy a bit on the MC he's doing his best. LOL

It's NOT ABOUT A RABBIT! ITS NOT FOR YOUR CHILDREN
Revisado: 10-16-18
This story is very well made and humorous. Don't let the titles and the book covers confuse you. It's not about a real rabbit. It's about a white mage who thinks he's a black mage.
Some fun content of the story the that MC (Main Character) provides us: Slander, Identity Theft, Actual Theft, Murder, Misguided Charity, Prostitution, Phobic Fears of Defenseless Creatures, Ethical Obscurity, Domestic Abuse, Familicide... list currently under construction....

IT"S GREAT! THE ENDING WAS FINE!
Revisado: 10-08-18
It's a great Fantasy novel! It does have some LiTRPG elements but you won't be spammed with that cluster fuck of a statistics rollout every 30min, just enough to let you know how progress is going and it's brisk!
Don't let people nag about the ending! He could have ended it 30min earlier and it would have been "acceptable", but just because he ended it in a thrilling part it's a "nonacceptable" cliffhanger? Every Thriller movie ends in a cliffhanger so they have a basis for more production! Leave a guy alone!

Summoned to a world in the midst of apocalypse, Daniel Black would have his hands full just staying alive. Add in refugees, desperate soldiers, scheming nobles and a pair of thoroughly wicked witches, and life is going to be very busy indeed. Good thing he has magic of his own to even the scales. But will even that be enough?

Not Your Grandpa's Gay Hero!!!
Revisado: 09-21-18
A true HERO main character. He's there to save some lives and in the process take them too. He understands that a Hero's job is taxing and if you got to kill a few dozen people to make it easier, then so be it because there's people/creature/things that need saving.
He starts his morning off with (probably) consensual blow jobs, hard to tell (cultural differences) and a list of things that need killed and women that need to be fucked (because it's good for their health, really it's true).
All the while strolling through the wasteland of a progressing Ragnorack. Seeing the sites and destroying and building strongholds because they didn't get the aesthetics right the first time. Like building a fucking wall. haha

A LitRPG Masterpiece! Pls Read Below
Revisado: 09-09-18
This novel is a masterpiece of LitRPG work. It is so unique and refreshing that I would have bought it with real money instead of a credit! If you're a bit tired of the same LitRPG linear progressional revolving situations then TRY THIS ONE! My only complaint is that the narrator has difficulty really increasing is exclamations and voice for intense moments BUT the story is so great you will get the feeling of excitement anyway!
