Lucky and Angel make a perfect duo

This series has more loops and dodges then a dog fight and well rounded characters. No one’s perfect, but everyone makes sense. The fights are brutally beautiful. Would love to see this series as a long anime series.

Z goes from bad guy to bad guy, fighting hard and barely making it through. This book has twists and turns that are unexpected and thoroughly enjoyable.
Seriously... if you site at a desk but dream of adventure, read this. If you dream of big guns and wishing you could use them. Read this. Love adventures where you're not sure who'll win? Read on! This narrators voice is nice to listen to, the characters are relatable and the betrayals are surprising as some of the victories.
Think Heinlein meets Buffy the vampire slayer... trust me, you'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll be looking for book two after binging on this for three days straight.

Your grandmother joined the CIA

As I read this, I can't help but imagine my grandmother getting bored and romping off to join the CIA. This ornery old woman get herself in over her head, but somehow through sheer stubborn tenacity picks up all the pieces and manages to not only succeed in her original mission, but goes overboard in her success.
A simply wonderful read that reminds us that even as we get older we need not be root bound.

This narrator sucks at these characters. She should have been made to listen to other books read in the series. She can't pronounce names and the accents she uses are childish and off putting making it hard to listen to, specially after reading the books myself.

Little choppy at times but good none the less.

The start of chapters tended to cut off the word "chapter" so it sounded like "ter 8" wasn't to big a deal, but the long pause before it started was a little annoying... More then once started thinking its paused for some reason.
