Historia
On the evening of November 24, 1971, D. B. Cooper hijacked Flight 305—Portland to Seattle—with a fake bomb, collected a ransom of $200,000, and then parachuted from the rear of the plane, disappearing into the night...and into history. Fifty years later, Agent Pendergast takes on a bizarre and gruesome case: in the ghost-haunted city of Savannah, Georgia, bodies are found with no blood left in their veins—sowing panic and reviving whispered tales of the infamous Savannah Vampire.

Pendergast is BACK!
Revisado: 09-02-21
This felt like Pendergast of old, reminded me of Cabinet of Curiosities and the delights therein. Coldmoon is such a delightful addition and I am looking forward to learning more about him and his story.

Historia
FBI Agent Pendergast has taken Constance on a whirlwind Grand Tour. They head to Tibet, where Pendergast intensively trained in martial arts and spiritual studies. At a remote monastery, they learn that a rare and dangerous artifact the monks have been guarding for generations has been stolen. Pendergast agrees to take up the search. The trail leads him and Constance to the maiden voyage of the Queen Victoria passenger liner - and to an Atlantic crossing fraught with terror.

Loved the story and the audio
Revisado: 10-12-18
I was a little wary because I love Scott Brick, but Rene Auberjonois is his equal, so my concerns were unfounded. Fans of Pendergast have given me mixed reviews and I understand why. This story is more mystical than others. I really enjoyed it - it's still Pendergast, still Constance, and still a thrilling, well written story. As a Tibetan Buddhist, I appreciated the realistic approach to my religion. The authors don't create a caricature of Buddhism, which is more common than not. I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Thoughts on the series thus far
Revisado: 08-30-18
What I enjoy the most about this series is that all characters matter. This isn't a series about one character. It's a series of stories that happens to contain the same characters, and we learn more about them as we progress, in a natural way, the way we learn more about our friends and acquaintances as time progresses. The series is organic that way.
