Great story line but...

I certainly would have selected a Male to read this book. The story is from the point of view of a Rough and Tough man. And on top of that ... he inherits the soul and wisdom of none other than Odin ... the most high of Norse and Viking Gods!! I have to say that despite this, I got used to her by the end. So, my opinion is - Great freakin story, Good(ish) narration. Hard to say if I would actually recommend to a friend tho ....

The ending felt like it was too fast and the twist came out of nowhere. There was so much energy spent on detail throughout the whole book until the very end.

Crazy time travel story...

Kinda hard to follow in the begining. A lot of weird plot twists & strange time travel concepts to wrap your head around...and to try to believe, in order for the story to keep you interested. That being said, the story certainly DID keep me interested and curious for the unfolding events and characters.

this listen is a favorite... i love the actors and storyline. all the twists and turns, not quite certain of where this is all going, and excited to witness its end... wherever it may lead. i'm dying to have season 3 released on audible. please continue making this production! I just listened to both season 1 and 2 for a second time... I first listened to them about two years ago, and I was still hooked... i forgot alot of the little things, and found myself listening as often as possible, getting sucked in all over again. i haven't read season 3, and I've eagerly been waiting a while for the audible version... not wanting to wait anymore, I bought it today! but please don't forget about this series... I really love the way the characters are brought to life by the actors, and need to hear it's ending, as well as read it!

I absolutely loved this series! if u are a fan of divergent, than this is definately something u should invest your ears on. I felt like some basic concepts were similar, but where as divergent had factions as a means to divide or define individuals, this book used a color classification system, based on the types of abilities people were given. There was a sweet, young love interest/ relationship, and the possibilities of epic battles, plot twists and turns. I really enjoyed the narrators take on the characters, and how she perceived they'd sound... all in all... big fan!
