Historia
Who won the first Daytona 500? Fans still debate whether it was midwestern champion Johnny Beauchamp, declared the victor at the finish line, or longtime NASCAR driver Lee Petty, declared the official winner a few days after the race. Author John Havick interviewed scores of people, analyzed film of the race, and pored over newspaper accounts of the event. He uses this information and his deep knowledge of the sport as it worked then to determine what probably happened. But he also tells a much bigger story.

Historia
A person may not know anything about baseball, but they still likely know the name Babe Ruth. Others may not watch football, but they still likely know who Tom Brady is. And most people have never been to a stock car race, but they’ve likely heard of Richard Petty, along with his simple but fitting nickname: “The King”. Richard Petty is quite possibly the greatest driver in the history of stock car racing, and while some may debate that, nobody can argue that he is the winningest driver in the history of National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing-sanctioned events.

The worst narration I’ve ever heard
Revisado: 11-18-24
I am a big fan of the audible books, racing and autobiography’s or biographies in general having purchase to listen to a lot from audible from different narrators, different authors producers this was the worst narration I have ever heard in my entire life from the sound of the voice to his inability to pronounce racing names I feel when you’re near reading a book, especially a book that has names of sports stars racers in general you should be able to, at least pronounce the names of the drivers, even if not a fan of racing itself
