Historia
We know the universe had a beginning. With the Big Bang, it expanded from a state of unimaginable density to an all-encompassing cosmic fireball to a simmering fluid of matter and energy, laying down the seeds for everything from black holes to one rocky planet orbiting a star near the edge of a spiral galaxy that happened to develop life as we know it. But what happens to the universe at the end of the story? And what does it mean for us now?

Entertaining and often sublime
Revisado: 12-28-13
What made the experience of listening to The History of Titus Groan the most enjoyable?
Lavish production that keeps the beauty of the language from the novels.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The History of Titus Groan?
The language. Startling, powerful imagery as beautiful as anything I have ever encountered.
Any additional comments?
This is a treasure. Makes the world of Gormenghast accessible.

Enjoyable return to magical world

What did you like best about this story?
Master story telling that builds layers and layers of suspense, never losing the reader in the journey.
What does Stephen King bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?
After listening to the rest of the series read by two incredible performers, I was surprised that I still liked hearing the author's interpretation of his own work. He caught the rhythm of his prose nicely and had a great voice for his "tax collector."

Clever short story with a memorable hook
Revisado: 06-13-05
I didn't know what I was getting into when I downloaded this, but I ended up with an entertaining 40 minutes of sci-fi for a cheap price. The idea behind how the moon is destroyed is spooky and catchy. This is a nicely executed short story that feels a bit like a fun TWILIGHT ZONE.
