Where is chapter 8

I bought the audible version because I have more time to listen than read. 1 minute they are all getting in the car to go to the conservatory at the end of chapter 7 and then its chapter 9 and she is walking in the house. I am not spending more money to find out what happened. How can you release a book without all the content. Please fix. I've slowly bought this whole series this is one of last 3 to get because it wasn't hitting me as interesting. I want the set so got it, now I wish I hadn't.

Some authors Need more than 5 stars

I own all Of the series!! Plus many more Nora Roberts books/series. There really isn't enough stars for a novel done by JD Robb/Nora Roberts. I listen and read to a lot of different genres.
A lot of the in death books Have very distinct levels of right and wrong. This book had a twist, and The wrong was in the right. I'm always amazed when i finish one of this authors books. I'm hoping for many more books in this series. Eve Dallas is a hard ass but if you listen to the books in order, including the half books, you witness the growth of her character. in the first few books Eve appeared very rigid in her thinking. Roarke brings a balance to her life that allows for others to sneak under her guard and she starts building her own family. This is a great series with a little something for everyone. My husband and son also enjoy this series and the authors other works. it is difficult finding books everyone will enjoy, with Nora Roberts its not an issue. Try just one of her books, survivor in death, origin in death are two of my favorites, but its really hard not to pick all as faves. Get a copy of any book in this series, I don't think you will be disappointed!

Always Amazing

Love this story line. I don't know how many times I've relistened to every audio book. The author has done such a wonderful job building the characters and the world they live in. I am constantly checking to see when they will be releasing the next book so I can see what some of my favorite people are up to. I completely recommend every book K. F. Breene has written or will write.
My only issue was the narrator for this book. Usually her character voices are very easy to identify. For some reason that was hard to do in some places in the book. Jessie and Nessa kept sounding like each other in this book. it throws the reader out of the story to have to figure out who's talking.

Tear jerker!

Grab your tissues, you will need them! This story has it all. I think a book that can have you getting odd looks for laughing out loud til you almost pee your pants one minute and crying a few minutes later is amazing.
Henry is this family's center. Their joy. Having a multiply impaired child of my own I related more to this book than some will. If you don't have a special needs family member it may be hard to understand this. My daughter is my peace. And she is the center of our family. All the kids I've met like Henry are pure innocence. This book tells the story of his Henry's family. Having to go home to care for him while Momma recovers from surgery, ultimately starts a healing process for the family. The author did an amazing job with all the characters but the narrator breathed life into them. I don't know where the idea for this book came from but I'm glad I listened to it. Thank you!

Worth listening to more than once

I have actually listened to it a lot. And book 2 as well. Kinda bummed book 3 isn't available yet on audio. The series flows well each book ends with the secondary plot wrapped up but it ends on a cliffhanger for the main plot, which is very frustrating. At the end of the book the author gives us a little info about the real city and some of her favorite places. This book is a new spin on an old story line but it works.

I haven't finished this story

And I will update my post when I am done. I devoured the previous books. (That I have been able to listen to for free.) This has become one of my favorite story lines. With characters that feel like neighbors I can run outside to visit with. I will be buying the entire series so I can have my friends close anytime I want a visit! That being said, What I really want to say is "THIS CAN'T BE THE END!"
This author created a world I want to join and enjoy. This author n series is only topped by Nora Roberts/J. D. Robb In Death series in my library. I have spent the last 5 years purchasing my in death series as well as almost everything else written by Nora Roberts.
If you're looking for a series with a little mystery, love and fantastic characters then you're in luck.
And the topper is the narrator doesn't have an irritating voice and breaths life into the characters beautifully.

CLIFFHANGER!

But a great cliffhanger! Best book I've read/listened to in a long time. I have a daughter with c.p. her seizures started at age 8. I was so impressed the author wrote a book with the female lead having a disability. My daughters is much more severe but I loved the character in this book. The large family is great as well, I have 5 kids so I understand the craziness that comes with so many people at your house for dinner! I related to a lot of things in this book.
if you enjoy big family dinners and the chaos that comes with large families I promise you will like this story. if u need to laugh I guarantee you will have many opportunities with this story. the narrator also does a great job. stop wondering n get the book, you'll love it!

This is a nice little story that leaves you wanting more info. was very happy to learn grandma has her own book and plan to look, get and listen to it soon!
